  1. Only a first team for us now. Well done to Manky and the glorious project farce. What's the aim of the scheme Manky? To have less youngsters playing football sir. Excellent Manky. Anyway. Good luck Rovers. As soon as you guys looked like you would come down to league 2, it looked ominous. Looks like we should have enough to avoid the bottom spot, so I think it is a battle between QP, Berwick and yourselves with maybe Edinburgh dragged in as well. Who knows. Maybe it will all click and you will surprise everyone.
  2. Never mind. Sevco are getting close to ten in a row. Ten years in existence that is.
  3. Yeah. You cannot play teenagers against a men's team. Most of our players looked scared and just tried to get rid of the ball anywhere they could hit it, especially the keeper.
  4. Just as Kelty join in, the other smaller team gets their first win. Perfect timing.
  5. Well done to Shippy on the first Fife Cup win. Never in any doubt. Men against boys and it clearly showed. A few decent Cowden performances, but mostly out of their depth. Galloway for Shippy looks like a player we should be signing.
  6. Hopefully win the trophy on my birthday.
  7. I am sure we lost a few players in recent years to SPL teams for the sole purpose of filling their under 20 team because they had to have one.
  8. H Have to say, I loved the old Stenny ground. The stand on the other side and the 'terracing' round the rest of the ground. I generally don't go to away games now at Stenny because of the current ground set up.
  9. Only 15 home games in the Lowland League, plus some cup games. If (probably unlikely), joe public hired the pitch out on the alternative Saturdays, then that would make up the difference. Surely, the pitch is unavailable for most of the day on match days, not just a few hours either side of the games. Not sure how popular the pitch rental is though.
  10. I remember watching the 1988 reserve league cup final between Hearts and Dundee United. The United team was mostly youngsters and Walter Kidd was upto every dirty trick in the book trying to put them off. Dragging his studs down the back of the young strikers calf muscle when the ref was not looking etc.
  11. Well done on tonight's result. Hope those who made the trip have a good night.
  12. He is only doing the job until the end of the season and then Michael O'Neill will take over after the World Cup.
  13. How is Renton doing? I never rated him. Poor touch and slow, but some fans raved about him.
  14. They won't have any fans if the colts are admitted. Their fans will start following the colts as their 'wee' team.
  15. I It is. Otherwise we would have a higher capacity.
  16. Why don't we all get together and split away from the current set-up and leave Celtic and Sevco out in the cold?
  17. I doubt there are any HL teams willing to join such a league anyway.
  18. Well done. Must have been nervy near the end, but you made it. Bit of an anticlimax now.
  19. Well done on hitting the top spot. You should see off Stirling next week, but watch that Bikey chap. Don't think it will matter, as Annan were just warming up today for a demolition of a woeful Forfar team next week.
  20. The fun begins tomorrow. Good luck to all involved. Hope we finish as one of the safe teams.
  21. The whole Scottish football set up is a joke. Senior, Junior, Amateur. It makes no sense to most people and most people have no idea how it works.
  22. Agree. 3G/4G pitches may be lower maintenance and make money for clubs, but they definitely cause injuries. There is a lot of youth and kids football played on these pitches and the kids get back, ankle and knee injuries which would be far less common on grass pitches.
