  1. Yeah. Seems to be on the high side. They would need almost daily full bookings.
  2. Excellent result. Well done. Even Greg Stewart couldn't help Abersneckie today.
  3. Unfortunately, that's small beer in the lower leagues. That's why it is so hard for smaller teams to survive. I am genuinely not having a dig at Kelty. I wish you well, but I think it was a big mistake appointing your current manager.
  4. I know some who aren't happy. Not just fans. I wish Kelty well, but I don't see you making it further with him in charge. Good luck anyway.
  5. Not having a dig at Kelty, just don't like ex players earning a living from the game when they are poor at the job. Our budget in our league is at the lower end. Somehow, I don't think Kelty are in that situation.
  6. Exactly. He can't even manage when he is there. How many of the other players in the sixes are managers? He is on good money at Kelty.
  7. As soon as EK get 3 or 4 points clear, they have it in the bag. They were a sure thing before this weekend. EK v Cove match-up awaits.
  8. How are East Stirlingshire likely to fare over the next few seasons? Is it a real struggle to compete now? I miss you guys.
  9. I think Burnley are just a better team than Aberdeen. My point was, coaches should stop obsessing about a players hieght and build. Skill is what matters, not height. English teams are the worst in the world for it. They pack their teams full of big lumps and rely mostly on foreign players for the skill.
  10. Interested to see how Kelty get on. However, as I have said before, it won't be good as long as the clueless fud is in charge.
  11. I agree, but there are racehorses out there. They are generally ignored and the focus is on the donkeys who are stronger or bigger instead of encouraging the racehorses. Usually because the coaches cannot see what's obvious in front of them. When you have the likes of Strachan saying we are too small in height and build, then what hope is there. Nothing has changed over the years.
  12. You are better concentrating on next season, in the hope that East Kilbride either go up this season or start to feel the pinch financially. Cannot see you catching East Kilbride now in the remaining 12 matches. However, still cannot see you getting anywhere with Ferguson in charge. Good luck anyway.
  13. Normal service resumes for Ferguson I see. Took him a few games to get going, but he is back to his best again.
  14. I think your hospitality will soon be sold out for the season, with all the Sevco interest.
  15. I know. Just not used to seeing you guys lose. As usual, it will probably come down to the results when you play Spartans and Kelty.
  16. He wouldn't have been my choice from a football point of view, but money wise he will certainly bring in plenty of extra cash via hospitality and increased crowds.
  17. Courts resigned. He wasn't sacked. So, you have to think he has another gig lined up. Of course, he may have resigned for other reasons, but hopefully all is well and he is about to be announced as the new manager somewhere.
  18. Yeah. Without the money it would be a totally different story. In most of the more important games over the years they fell short, so I am not sure he is anything special.
  19. Good luck to the rugby teams. I know people who go along to games in Edinburgh now regularly. There are a few billionaires in Scotland, but not stupid enough to waste their money. You never know though, how about the Glenfiddich stadium? I don't think the stadium is that important. It would be nice having a fancy stadium, but investment in kids football is more important and to say it is currently woeful would be a huge compliment. Never mind though, Manky is in charge! Sadly, I think most people under the age of thirty have little interest or affinity for the national team. Even when I was at school, the best pitch at the school was referred to as Wembley.
  20. Hampden is a dump. For the younger generation, it has no attraction whatsoever. All these ex players and pundits who claim there will be outrage if the SFA stop using Hamdump are living in a fantasy world. How can rugby have a large stadium with the finances they have, where club rugby is woefully supported, yet the SFA could not build a brand new stadium in the Edinburgh area over the years. If a new stadium was built now, it would take money away from the game, but what are we gaining from the investment in youth football? The set up just now is worse than it has ever been.
  21. Really sad day for Selkirk.
  22. I like Elgin and it's a nice trip. If Gilfillan had not quit this week and Sheerin was fit, I was all for heading up again. Fortunately, I didn't bother. Feel sorry for anyone who travelled. Think there was a delay on way back as well due to the accident with the Ross County supporters bus. Sadly, someone was killed in the crash.
