  1. I think we can kick on in the 2nd half with the wind behind us, would expect to see the flake come on for 25-30 minutes, also RM possibly for Tait, Frankie for all the time he has been out has put in a decent shift in the first 45, long may it continue
  2. I'll take that at half time, hopefully we can make full use of the wind direction in the 2nd half
  3. FFS, we should really be 2 or 3 behind already
  4. Had originally planned to go to the pub and watch Jeff Stelling call the goals whilst watching my coupon fade away to £0.00. Given the shitty weather have decided to stay at home and purchase the stream, hopefully we can continue our good record at Palmerston, was always one of my favourite away days, just don't get to many away games as I used to. COYR
  5. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, plaese appoint John Hughes so we can keep the good times rolling.
  6. Confirmed Zanatta worldie against the team who's fans dislike him a lot. GIRFUY lol
  7. Have to say Jamie McDonald was raging when we conceeded the goal, booted the post and screamed "every fucking week", not blaming BRS for the goal but when the ball was cut back he was behind the guy who scored, FFS get in front of your man, positianally the guy is a headless chicken, not the worst player in a Rovers shirt I've seen but I think he's out of his depth at this level.
  8. Tom Lang was MOM for me, absolutely outstanding, especially in the 2nd half when we were put under a lot of pressure. TBH we should have been out of sight by half time. Guy near me reckoned we are playing BRS out of position, for me if he's on the park he's out of position, just hope it was a precautionary measure to take Brad off, also looks like Liam Dick took a sore one, hopefully nothing too serious. That's the Rovers way to win a game, dominate for 45 then hang on for grim life
  9. Big Country are a tremendous band, this thread has made me want to put these on later this evening
  10. Hopefully Varion and / or Bene will be back fit, would give us a bit more depth in the squad, that said Lang and Mitchell held their own in midweek so I'd have no fear if both were still out. Matthews will be a big miss although it looks like Musonda is finally due a comeback but obviously severely lacking in game time. Agree this is a game we have to take 3 points from if we are to be considered as serious challengers, Duffy looks to have sorted Ayr out a bit since he took over and I'd expect a tougher game than the one at Somerset earlier in the season.
  11. As much as I like to see Dunfermline struggle and it's great to point and laugh sometimes I'd be bitterly disappointed if they did go down, would take 4 great games and atmosphere's away from us next season (just get rid of the shite patter guys), it's also a fantastic feeling to have the bragging rights for however short (or long) period of time. Would never bring myself to 'hate' them, as far as the fans go I have too much respect for the vast majority to 'hate' them as they choose their local team over the dark forces week in week out, much like our guys do. I say vast majority as I'm well aware most teams in this league will have a small number of complete fanny's that follow them or come out for the big games only.
  12. Dunfermline keep the potato for another game, Dom Thomas scores a worldie, PG ( left) what about my potato? only thing I've won so far this season
  13. No win in 10, potentially goal of the season scored and your manager sits on his arse jotting some drivel in a notebook, just unbelievable stuff. For what it's worth I still say you guys will be safe come the end of the season, yes your manager may be incompetent but you have a decent squad a players there. If you do happen to go down can we have Don Thomas please
  14. Pretty much agree with this, Matthews suspended, Varion, Bene, Vaughn and Musonda out (4 of whom would start), if Dunfermline don't win tonight then I'd be very surprised, only shining light is that it will keep PG there for another couple of months if they do pick up the 3 points.
  15. Watched the replay after midnight when they went up, didn't think it was a red (1/2 a bottle of wine and a few beers) Watched again this afternoon with a clear head, was a red card all day long. That said I thought we had a very good claim for a penalty, yes probably a tad harsh but I've seen plenty like that given, just a pity we didn't get to see the Poplatnik / Spencer moments again. Draw a fair result on the balance of play, on to Tuesday and the next game
  16. Can't argue with that, has cost us goals in the past when we fanny about with sideways passing
  17. Really good point, appeal and lose and potenially harder opponents, add that Ethan Ross has had a bit more gametime we have a decent replacement in mid with BRS as backup
  18. QOS did a decent job of it, as you said ICT were better, bit like last season, teams suss us out but we really don't have a plan B or C
  19. I'll reserve judgement on the red until I see it again on video, however how is sything down a player from behind not dangerous play ? granted both challenges were the opposite side of the halfway line from the South Stand but consistency from ref's is all I ask for, that guy today was the worst ref I have ever seen, was asked how much injury time was going to be played, my response was until Inverness score To the game - not the best, ICT did a good job in closing us down quickly and not allowing our usual pass and move style, that said we were clearly not at the races today, 2nd half just seemed to be hoof it clear and hope to pick up the odd counter attack which worked well, a point apeice was probably fair on the balance of play, ICT had more of the ball but created very few chances, we had a few good opporunities that on another day would have been taken. Only winners from that game are Killie, just hope the 2 injuries aren't too serious and please Rovers appeal that red card.
  20. lead to a team being severely weakened or unable to fulfil a fixture. Is that not Peter Grant's job ?
  21. Certainly is, must be over 40 years since I first heard this one
  22. Gordon Dalzeil Paquito Steven McAnespie Can only go on the players I've seen, nearly - Colin Harris, Mickey Cameron, Didier Agathe
