  1. It's apparently 105x68m, not sure how that compares to elsewhere in the league but it certainly seems bigger than Ochilview.
I figured it would help us, that we would be on the front foot in most games and usually bigger pitches make it more difficult for teams to sit back and defend.
Turns out, while it's certainly made our defense worse I'm not so sure about anyone else

To be honest injuries have made our defence worse, hopefully now McKee is back we can have a settled back 4/5 which hopefully can give us a base to build from.
  2. Apart from the five minutes after they scored the Shire totally dominated, best Scottish cup performance in a long time. Drew Ramsey’s goal celebration was something else[emoji574]️don’t think he could even believe it, to quote the Huntly fan beside me ‘f**k sake you’d think he’d just won the world cup’ lol

  3. 2 goals down in 10 minutes is always going to be a struggle, injury’s aside it appears to me that decisions are being made to accommodate certain players at the expense of others who are better.
Falkirk stadium was a good chance to try and build our club and tonight’s crowd of 175 is probably almost double what we would have got if this game had been at stenny, but unless we start putting on a better show then there is a real risk that we could be the next Selkirk.

  4. Disappointing result on Saturday, although I would have bitten your arm off for a point when we were 2-0 down. Write up on the Shire site says that we dominated and were wasteful in front of goal - anybody who went see it the same way? I'm concerned that we've got one point from the last two fixtures where we would have been confident of 6 last season - and we only finished 4th last year. Don't see us threatening EK unless something dramatic happens.
    Cheers

We had plenty of chance just didn’t take them, second half we were camped in their half then got hit by a sucker punch.

  5. Followed him on twitter today and never got that feeling[emoji23]

We will see how he gets on. I haven’t seen much of our pre-season either but our team lacked pace going forward last season so hopefully he can make a difference in that sense

From what I’ve seen we have definitely added a bit of pace but also a bit of presence, don’t think we will be winning any fair play awards this season. Lol
  6. I'm sure your two pints of lager and a packet of crisps contribution will be missed.

Only time will tell how much you depended on the Shire’s cash, one big plus for me is Big chief red jacket is no longer getting cash from the Shire to bully women and children.
  7. As our season comes to an early end what’s the verdict? Today we named a team of 12 player( fucking joke) if our move to falkirk stadium doesn’t come with a more professional outlook then what’s the point!!!!!!!! Today like last year at Selkirk was fucking embarrassing!!
Ps a player named on our bench was at Ayr Races!!!!! Enough said.

  8. Yous done your bit today lads. Shame we couldnt do the same.

On today’s evidence I don’t think Cove or Cowdenbeath will be too worried having to face Spartans. Also not sure if we will have enough player for next week with injury and suspension.
  9. Highlight for me was linesman makes a shocking decision gets a bit of stick then starts asking boys to wait at the stand after the game lol

Is this seriously the best we can get running the line nowadays?

“I’m a 54 year old man and I’ll take any of you poofy c**t outside after the game’

Sort of shit you would expect from a school kid.
