  1. She's fucking hopeless. The personification of the daily mail. Strategy spelt out as - we will do anything up to and including damaging the economy to keep the poles out.
  2. Westminster and holyrood goveenments break manifesto commitments all the time.
  3. Reckon the CIA will let him have his inauguration before killing him?
  4. Maybe the whole thing has been deliberately set up to make it look like Scottish labour isn't 'the branch office'
  5. They don't really do anything at either Westminster of holyrood so they might as well
  6. If there's any organisation that should know about interfering in a foreign country's democratic process, it's the US intelligence service.
  7. UKIP s only role will be to take votes off Labour. The tories will probably have a decent shot at taking this imo.
  8. Support for independence remaining static and sturgeon saying 'Ach we won't bother with a referendum after all'?
  9. The whole point of the proposal is for Westminster to 'never go for it'.
  10. You've got horribly mixed up, the 54 in 4 years refers to the number of crooks they've appointed to their board of directors in that space of time.
  11. Can't see why. A statement distancing the Turkish government from one persons actions will follow and this will be a footnote. Russia and Assad will get their way in Syria anyway, I suspect everyone knows this and probably isn't the absolute worst outcome from a western perspective.
  12. Probably personally ordered by putin in an attempt to increase western goodwill to Russia/Syria.
  13. You could make a convincing case for the wales football team, the england rugby team, the GB hockey and Leicester for team of the year. All of whom have had unprecedented success. Still should be Leicester IMO tho.
  14. The greens votes come from voters in safe seats voting for them as their second preference. If it wasn't SNP voters it would have been labour, as it was in 2003. The greens see independence as a means to an end, they've got more important things to worry about than helping wee burnie become president.
  15. No more dictatorial than Bavaria or Texas or Alberta.
  16. Scotland would be in exactly the same situation. Sturgeons brown nosing is futile
  17. Labours problems go way way beyond kez. They even predate her becoming an msp, so she might as well be the leader.
  18. Whether article 50 is invoked tomorrow or in 100 years time, we will only get 2 years to negotiate with the EU. It puts the UK at a disadvantage whichever way you look at it. As a result brexit will not happen, possibly ever, but not soon at least. The Govts task is to make it look like it is everyone apart from them that is delaying brexit.
  19. I'm almost certain the court case only exists to allow the march 2017 date to get binned.
  20. I have no idea why anyone would spend nearly $100 on a cab from JFK.
  21. The story is that the vote seems to have been an effective vote on the party/ the candidates stance on Brexit. Extrapolate that across the country and theres a few MPs not looking too comfortable, particularly remain labour MPs in the north of england.
  22. It was selective in the context of the argument - the original article was about travel expenses, wos talked about something different. Both sources have agendas, both should be read critically. I think they may agree on attitudes to the transgender community though.
  23. It's not lying. The daily mail was talking about travel expenses and other selected expenses that went up. WOS shot back with a load of whataboutery (a very common theme for wos articles) about the total expenses spend being down. Both sources selectively used the figures for their own ends.
