  1. And Adams was loved by the Celtic support ? By far from "truth". Btw, his predecessor died yesterday, Ruairi O'Bradigh. A far far better human being than Adams could aspire to.
  2. Might not be a "celtic" blogger...... Btw, was suggested elsewhere you are the former poster "the king" ? Any substance ?
  3. 6666 ? Apt...... Is that even taking into account any "extras" paid into a, shall we say, "trust"?
  4. http://www.thecoplandroad.org/2013/0...s-exposed.html Rangers: EXPOSED by Andy McGowan | Contributor I dont consider myself a brave man, nor am I a seeker or justice or truth like so many of my counterparts on other side of the Old Firm. But I can no longer stand by and watch the club I love be ruined by hate and bigotry. As a responsible law abiding Rangers fan who supports his club through thick and thin I feel it is my duty to expose the secret truths of Rangers Football Club in a bid to cleanse it forever of its toxic elements. Although this may be hard and shocking for some of you to read, I am going to lay bare the truth behind some of the songs, statements and style of Rangers. Lets start with one you will all be familiar with but may be unaware of its secret meaning: We Are the People. It sounds harmless right? Wrong. We are the people of course refers to Unionist leader and first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, James Craig, who in 1921 declared that NI would be "a Protestant State for a Protestant People." He made this declaration after a conversation with Bill Struth, who of course had taken over as Rangers manager the previous year. A little known fact is that James Craig was a keen footballer before entering politics and almost became Bill Struths assistant at Ibrox. When the two friends met up in secret they often discussed their proud Catholic hating Protestant roots and had regular meetings of a secret club known as We Are the Protestants (WATP) preceded by many a secret handshake. Struth decided this was too contentious a name and We are the People was born and exists as an anti-Catholic masonic organisation run from within the corridors of Ibrox to this day. The Club logo fills us all with pride. The colours, the words, the lion they all hold a special meaning to Rangers fans worldwide. But it also holds more sinister secrets you might not be aware of. It should also come as no surprise that the WATP Organisation were behind a plot named the Ready to Destroy Ireland movement of 1973, or simply, Ready, which is why it now appears on the club crest. Rangers new boy Nicky Clark this week declared I'm ready for round two. This was a sickening secret anti-Irish comment from Clark who was inducted into the WATP Organisation just six days earlier. Not only that, but the lion which stands so proudly on the badge that is printed on your childs shirts and t-shirts every year, covering their now vile and twisted bigoted little hearts, is a nod to the Norman invasion of Ireland in 1169, and more specifically Henry II, who in 1171 took Dublin and accepted the fealty of the Irish kings and bishops and was known simply as The Red Lion in Ireland from then on. Some of our unacceptables you may be more aware of is found in the song book. Our love of the song Penny Arcade is again sadly attributed to religious hatred and due to the death of a Catholic man in Belfast in 1986 in an amusement arcade. I cant confirm this but my source tells me Gazza may have been the main culprit. As many of you are aware the Beach boys hit Sloop John B has been taken on by Rangers fans as Carl Wilson and cousin Mike Love were fierce bigots and good Rangers men. The "Blue Sea of Ibrox" as we all know is about drowning Catholics in the Irish Sea, not at any specific time or anything; we just pure love doing that. Our traditional red and black socks are perhaps the most secret and disgusting vile act of Sevco-***-bigotry in the Clubs history. First worn in 1904, they were the work of Moses McNeil, who wanted a way to express his feelings toward the people he hated the most: Blacks and ******s, thus the black sock with the red trim. The black symbolised that there were too many African Americans in the USA (McNeil of course was a founding member of the second Ku Klux Klan in 1915) and the red to show that we were up to our knees in Fen ian blood, which to this day is where we and our socks remain. Now that the light has been shined on just a few of the many, many shameful practises at Rangers Football Club I hope you will join me in our progress, and that us good law abiding fans can move forward in peace.

  12. Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green has agreed to sell part of his stake in the club to a hedge fund. According to an announcement to the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday, Rangers International Football Club plc said Mr Green had entered into an agreement with Laxey Partners Limited in October 2012. Under the terms of this deal, Mr Green agreed to transfer 714,285 of his 5,071,629 shares in the company to the Isle of Man-based firm. The 60-year-old is among the biggest single shareholders in Rangers International, with a 7.7% stake in the company, which he will be able to sell off in December this year as part of a lock-in agreement he entered into. In the stock exchange announcement, Rangers said: "The company announces that under an agreement entered into by Charles Green, the former CEO of the Company, with Laxey Partners Ltd on 19 October 2012, Mr Green has agreed to transfer 714,285 shares owned by him to Laxey, once free to effect a transfer. "Under the terms of the lock-in agreement entered into by Mr Green with the Company on 7 December 2012, Mr Green is prevented from transferring shares before 7 December 2013, without the consent of Cenkos Securities plc other than in limited circumstances such as to connected persons, a family trust or in the event of a takeover of the company." The stake Mr Green has agreed to transfer to Laxey represents around 14% of his shareholding in Rangers, while it is around 1% of the clubs entire share capital. Mr Green purchased 5,000,000 shares in Rangers at 1p each as part of an agreement entered into on October 31 last year, which was days after the Laxey deal is dated and months before the club was floated on the stock market in December. The former chief, who earned a base salary of £360,000 per year at Rangers, "left the company" on May 31, Rangers said in the stock exchange announcement. It had been announced that he was standing down from his role citing "negative publicity" surrounding his links with former Rangers owner Craig Whyte, who claims Mr Green acted as a "front" for him in the purchase of the clubs assets last summer. Mr Green and commercial director Imran Ahmad deny any wrongdoing surrounding their dealings with Mr Whyte, while Rangers commissioned an investigation into the links last month. Legal firm Pinsent Masons headed up the inquiry that concluded in May. In a statement, Rangers said Pinsent Masons had found "no evidence" suggesting Mr Whyte had invested in or was involved in Sevco Scotland Limited, which obtained the clubs assets and was renamed The Rangers Football Club Limited. However, the allegations surrounding Mr Whytes dealings with Mr Green and his group relate to Sevco 5088 Limited, which entered into an exclusivity agreement with club administrators Duff and Phelps to purchase the clubs assets last May, before they ended up with Sevco Scotland. Rangers' statement regarding the internal investigation did not comment on the role of Sevco 5088, while Mr Whyte has issued the club with a letter warning of legal action claiming rightful ownership of its assets. Earlier this year Rangers appointed Craig Mather as interim chief executive officer after Mr Green stood down, while Mr Ahmad also left his role at the club. Current investors and the owners of McGills Buses, James and Sandy Easdale, stated in April they had a "delicate" agreement with Mr Green to buy his shares, but there has been no further announcement regarding this.

  14. Fecking hell I'm doubting myself........ After defending their right to sing political stuff, I find myself saying "watp" is NOT sectarian. It refers to a subsect, ie 'cult', of an offshoot of a protestant church. Not sectarian. They hate everyone not in the cult but so what ? So do tescoclubcard holders. I just like the fact that when cash is needed, out wae the slogan. Like the "firey cross" of its time.
