Talbot were the away team in the Sectional League Cup Final, so it's only 3 on the bounce.

I've stated on numerous occasions, that if clubs want to request a change of day or kick off time, that I'm happy to accommodate it as long as both clubs are in agreement over the change.

I asked clubs to volunteer to host the draw on the Sunday to ensure that there were people there to assist me with it. Doing it on the Saturday meant that those people couldn't attend due to them being at their own team's game. Doing it on the Sunday means I have people available to make the draw and to broadcast it via social media. Yoker and Clydebank were both drawn at home but as the Sunday wasn't available, Yoker opted for the Friday night with Clydebank playing on the Saturday due to them being first out in the draw. I'll be at Ardrossan on Friday, Darvel on Saturday and Greenock on Sunday. If you want a chat come over and see me. Unfortunately I won't be wearing a blazer as I'm more likely to be in a denim jacket.

Perhaps you didn't intend it as a criticism, but it does leave it open for others to interpret it as such. ie - "That is a disgrace how does the club sustain this financially?" I thought I'd just put a wee bit more meat on the bone by way of showing that it's down to fate rather than intent.

Some more interesting stats The Glens had 2 aways and 1 home in the Sectional group (previous year it would have been 1 away and 2 homes). They won their group and got another away in the Group winners stage. In the quarters it was another away draw for the Glens. So there’s 4 of your aways in your tally. So if you take them out of your count that leaves it at 3 homes and 8 aways. In the league they had a home fixture postponed on 10th Aug due to a waterlogged pitch. (only game postponed in the Premiership). Then on 31st August their was another home fixture postponed due to a waterlogged pitch (one of only two postponements in the Premiership) They then lost another home fixture due to Talbot’s involvement in the William Hill Cup. An away fixture was postponed because of Benburb's replay in the Macron Scottish on 12th October. Another home league game was postponed due to the Glens getting an away draw in the Macron Scottish Junior Cup on 26th October. So if those games had been played your tally would read 7 homes and 8 aways.

Just one suggestion, would it not be prudent to leave the date for the Third Round of the Scottish Junior Cup blank and then make up league fixtures with the teams who are knocked out by then? Already considering that for next time. Scottish Cup rounds 2,3 & 4 left blank and then filled with fixtures where possible from earlier postponed games for those teams no longer in the competition.

There is a general meeting of the West Region clubs on Thursday. One of the topics in my report will be regarding the runs of home/away fixtures. Once I've reported to the club delegates at that meeting, I'll be more than happy to come back here and explain. At the moment the only thing I can say is that the system is flawed and I am working on improvements.

Loved it with Eddie Tenpole Tudor, but can't watch it now with that Ayoade bloke.
