  1. The clubs wanted a fixture list where all League games were given a Saturday.

  3. Please explain. It seems a few of us are baffled.
  4. Only 6 of the 40 odd postponements are down to the Junior Cup. 2 of them were down to the unfortunate abandonment of Stoneywood v Bellshill, So, the Junior Cup is not the problem you hope it is.
  5. Interesting that you think "Division 3 are managing 36 games". Come back in May and tell me how they're managing 3 games a week. There's over 40 fixtures without a date at this present time and we're not out of January yet. The sooner that all Divisions are down to 16 teams the better.
  6. 80 teams gives us 5 Divisions of 16, which is ideal from our point of view. Personally, I'd be wary of increasing Division 4 by any more than 2 and taking it to 18. So the problem would be - How do you accommodate more teams? What do we do with 20, 21, 22 or more? The other problem would lie with referees, would there be enough?
  7. All known fixtures are on the WoSFL website.
  8. There is. But as always it is subject to change to ensure completion of the competitions.
  9. I'm talking about re-arranged games. Fair play to the person that runs that site, I understand the work he must put into it. But he can't update it till I update the official WoSFL site, which is where he must go to get any updates.
  10. Which is fine if that's all you're looking for. Hardly up to date though.
  11. West of Scotland Football League - News (wosfl.co.uk)
  12. I was asked why Talbot weren't given a game and answered that. Glenafton weren't given a game for that same reason. But since then things changed and both teams now believe their pitches will be ok with the added home fixture.
  13. Glenafton v Petershill was not scheduled for 22nd April. That was Petershill v Glenafton. It was originally moved from that date to give both teams a game on 7th January. This in turn was postponed due to the West of Scotland Cup. It has been returned to the original date of 22nd April.
  14. Following consultation with both Glenafton Athletic and Auchinleck Talbot on the 4 home game scenario, both clubs have now been given a midweek fixture on Wed 18th January.
  15. Yes. Talbot have 3 home games on 3 consecutive Saturdays. It is January, so I think asking them to play 4 would be a bit much. They have no away postponed games that were suitable. (Not the home teams circumstances that caused the postponement.)
  16. The first one is a postponed Cup tie that replaced a home game. The cup needs to get back on track and all ties were put in for Saturday. The second is a normal away fixture. The third is a reversal of a game that was switched with Kilbirnie's agreement to a home game that was played on 22nd Oct as Blantyre's ground was unplayable. The fourth is a midweek fixture to re-cast a postponed game. The fifth is a normal away fixture. The sixth is to replace a postponement because their original home opponents are on cup duty. No home opponents were available. The seventh is a normal away fixture.
  17. Half of it got dug up for the coal during the miners strike in 1984.
  18. It is still being updated and is under maintenance, it can be accessed as you advise.
  19. League game with Clydebank between Cumnock and Johnstone Burgh. I should have known that.
  20. Be 4 in a row with Raith and Cumnock Make it 5 with Johnstone Burgh in West League Cup
  21. Largs v Cambuslang had already been set up before it was known who was all going to be available. So, only 4 were left without a fixture. Pollok v Meadow was not an option as it is already set for 5th Nov. Pollok had played Clydebank and Kilwinning fairly recently so those weren't options either.
  22. Cup games coincided with scheduled league away games. Not much I can do about that.
