We don't need to ditch anything. It's time to put away the bitterness and animosity between certain factions within the same organisation. All that's needed is a bit of co-operation and understanding. I firmly believe that there is still an appetite for the Junior Cup and if that means I'm 'Junior minded' then so be it. I prefer to think I'm football minded though. I'm the fixture secretary for the WoSFL, I'm on the committee for the South Challenge Cup and I co-ordinate the fixtures for the Junior Cup. I give each of these 100% because I believe if we work together we can make it better for all concerned. To give any of them any less would set me up for a fail.

As do all the Cups that the membership play in.

Because the clubs in membership of the WoSFL agreed on it.

Kilwinning v Beith was played today. That was a postponed game from 29th October because of the Junior Cup. Yet it was played today. A Saturday. Strange that, don't you think?

So, let me get this right. Kilwinning got a midweek game because of the South Challenge Cup, but it's the Junior Cup to blame.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm afraid I'll stick with trying to find dates for games that are already postponed rather than postpone games just to fill up a Wednesday.

Darvel played Clydebank, Glenafton were at Troon. Cumnock v Talbot is on Saturday 11th March and Meadow v Talbot is on Saturday 6th May. Are you suggesting I postpone a Saturday game just to give Talbot a midweek game. I don't think Cumnock or Meadow would thank me for that.
