  1. We don't need to ditch anything. It's time to put away the bitterness and animosity between certain factions within the same organisation. All that's needed is a bit of co-operation and understanding. I firmly believe that there is still an appetite for the Junior Cup and if that means I'm 'Junior minded' then so be it. I prefer to think I'm football minded though. I'm the fixture secretary for the WoSFL, I'm on the committee for the South Challenge Cup and I co-ordinate the fixtures for the Junior Cup. I give each of these 100% because I believe if we work together we can make it better for all concerned. To give any of them any less would set me up for a fail.
  2. Aye, it's all the fault of the Junior Cup Rob Roy v Kilwinning postponed on 15th Oct because Kilwinning were in the South Challenge Cup Kilwinning v Rob Roy postponed on 4th March because Kilwinning were in the South Challenge Cup Petershill v Kilwinning postponed on 4th Feb because Kilwinning were in the South Challenge Cup Kilwinning v Petershill postponed on 16th September because Kilwinning were in the Scottish Cup Edited to add that Kilwinning v Arthurlie was postponed on 16th of December because your pitch was frozen.
  3. That was because Kilwinning were involved in the South Challenge Cup.
  4. So, where have you lost out on a Saturday income because an opponent was involved in the Junior Cup or any Cup for that matter?
  5. Because the clubs in membership of the WoSFL agreed on it.
  6. Kilwinning v Beith was played today. That was a postponed game from 29th October because of the Junior Cup. Yet it was played today. A Saturday. Strange that, don't you think?
  7. So, let me get this right. Kilwinning got a midweek game because of the South Challenge Cup, but it's the Junior Cup to blame.
  8. There will be more midweek games in the coming months.
  9. Has 'your team' been given a home midweek fixture because of the opponents participation in the Junior Cup?
  10. Thanks for the advice, but I'm afraid I'll stick with trying to find dates for games that are already postponed rather than postpone games just to fill up a Wednesday.
  11. Darvel played Clydebank, Glenafton were at Troon. Cumnock v Talbot is on Saturday 11th March and Meadow v Talbot is on Saturday 6th May. Are you suggesting I postpone a Saturday game just to give Talbot a midweek game. I don't think Cumnock or Meadow would thank me for that.
  12. Not according to the treasurers of clubs that complained about getting them.
  13. Because they had a home game on the Wednesday a week earlier.
