  1. I'm not convinced McGrandles is what we need, Taiwo coming back soon and sometimes with loan players clauses are put in for them to play which may upset the tight bond all the players have, tho the same goes with anyone coming in. I'm not fully convinced with loan deals in January, feel it's better to have a 6 month deal or longer in this window.

Width and pace to change from bench is what I'd like to see come in, Miller really the only game changer when he is on the bench

I would love to have mcgrandles back , one of my favourite players of recent years ...but where would we play him? I can only think of RHS of midfield replacing an occasionally brilliant but mostly ineffectual alston

  2. He will not go anywhere just for money to sit on the bench. If he not going to play regularly he won't go.

IMO that is what would happen if we were to go to you

Don't know the guy but would be stunned if that was true...you have to have faith in your ability to get into the team at a much bigger club. What does a player in his position have to lose...go & get ten times your current salary & if it doesn't work you'll end up at least back at the level you were at...don't what him to leave obviously but considering the circumstances we signed him under I wouldn't grudge him a half decent move

  3. Couple of decent signings & a free transfer for mcwatt should see you boys put in a good push for 4th...fancy you to overhaul rovers...& in all probability set up the same first play off game from 2 years ago....on a sidenote I'm sure most of you like I am are astonished how bad Durnan has been ...him & holt were the two queens players I rated highest in the games against us

  4. We could throw money we do have at it

Don't see the point & anyway why upset a winning team...there are a few that can step in if necessary ....Blair hasnt taken his limited chances so far but I'm sure he's seen as Kerrs long term replacement ...muirhead has come on to a bit of a game although he's not a fullback but I would rather have him than duffie tbh...maybe a utility type that can play defence/midfield as back up

  5. Sorry pal I posted that before I seen your egalitarian posts..yes I will be there always a good game between us... Obviously you have a weapon in Hemings & our defence is good in the air but slow...always thought our clubs can get good supports when doing well...looking forward to it boss...Rory loy was amazing for us but maybe not so good in the league above...one of the hardest working centres I've ever seen

  6. Elvis never played Vaulks and Leahy was signed as a left mid and Elvis gave him 6 league games.

All the credit for Leahy for me is down to Houstie for playing him at left back and persevering with him, tho Leahy deserves credit for putting the work in.

Vaulks is a tremendous athlete, his greatest and perhaps worst strength is that he can cover a lot of positions. He's had amazing games in positions he's covered and poor games there too.

The thing about us now is we win as a team and lose as a team, years gone by it was if an individual didn't turn up, we'd struggle. The recent two 5-0 games and i personally couldn't say one player was MOM for sure as we won as a team

Listen sunshine all I said was elvis signed both players who have both gone on to be excellent for us...I have a boner for vaulks who I think is a fantastic footballer & could be played in almost any position & leahy has shown he has an amazing left foot & scored one of the top five goals ever in a Falkirk jersey with his screaming left foot buddy holly....obviously stainrod at mcdiarmid & crunchie against Huntly were better but it's in my top five
  7. Would we be due a development fee for Leahy?

Think we signed him from non league rugby when he was 19 ....the boys from Coventry I think...not sure how that works development wise & yes he has been excellent & I would agree with BPM when I compared both that leahy was better going forward than Kingsley ...kingsley however was some player both at LB & especially at CH & it's a shame he's not really playing just now...he will however go on to play for Scotland...guaranteed

  8. The late sammy conn should have been on that poster (which hangs in my games room) due to the fact he scored the best lobbed header ever seen at brockville when the ball hit him square on the coupon when attempting a near post diving header & sailed magnificently over the keeper & went in on the back post angle ....sammy even had the gall to celebrate it

  9. We all know Baird is the ultimate In goal hanging ...he's not a great player he either works or doesn't...but he's doing a job for us right now.. Bob mchugh has much more skill but he's a chocolate soldier ....I'm not surprised that queens are struggling without durning & especially holt .. Heart ripped out the team as well as the underrated mcshane who I always thought was a player
