Living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
stevieKTID replied to Richey Edwards's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
I do the sockets/ cooker thing countless times before I leave the apartment and before I go to bed and also take photos ( before leaving the apartment that is not before bed though, that would be mental) some days are better than others, some days I hate myself for it and others I just laugh to myself at the ridiculousness of it all, I also have to check that doors are locked and closed properly which can be quite a challenge with my job as I have the keys for my clients apartments and I'm in and out of folks houses everyday. I've learned to live with it over the years but it can be hard work at times. -

I shouted out "a chevette saloon and a cortina!" When watching it last night which was a welcome distraction from all the violence and arson. -

Prisoners are cheaper and easier to replace, they don't require maintenance only food and with the Public Order Decree in force there are loads of them. Just a guess but maybe they're making parts for the Death Star? -
They were fantastic! Loved them starting with the first 3 tracks from ( )

Sigur Rós at AFAS Amsterdam, got a VIP pass courtesy of my girlfriend's work, free drinks and a comfy seat on a private balcony, amazing experience and a wonderful gig.

My old friends Keeley & Jolie are back in NL for their yearly visit before setting off on their travels again, what an amazing life they're having since the owners retired, sold most of their possessions and started a life on the road touring Europe, that's 4 years they've been doing it, I always get an amazing welcome I was covered in drool, bittersweet though - Jolie ( Frenchie) is still mad as ever although she's slowed down but Keeley is almost completely blind and has a few health issues but the second the owner said my name she got really excited. Dogs eh

Metal or really heavy rawk for me, I get that there's a certain level of skill involved but it just seems like noise for the sake of it.

I had just relocated to The Netherlands and was working in a factory in a small town mid-way between Amsterdam and Haarlem, my co-workers in the department were mostly from Turkey and Morocco, as I was tidying my workspace I noticed a crowd gathering around the radio and they were laughing and cheering - I didn't speak any Dutch at the time some asked one of them what was happening and they said a plane had crashed into a building in NYC didn't think much of it at the time but on the bus journey home I couldn't help but wonder why the folk I worked with were so happy about it, turned on the TV when I got back to my apartment and didn't move for hours I was in complete shock at the scale of what was happening. I had visited NYC for the first time in 1999 and went up to the south tower observation deck, had a Nathans hotdog and took in the view I still have the photos somewhere in my parents loft, what happened on 9/11 is probably one of the most shocking events I can recall in my lifetime it was all rather surreal, I was watching a documentary about it last night and I'll admit I got a bit teary.
