Was never really a beer drinker when i lived in Scotland and hadn't enjoyed Tennents anytime i'd tried it however this thread piqued my interest, so yesterday, seeing as i was back seeing my folks, i went for it and really enjoyed it. Its way better than any of the mainstream beer available in The Netherlands. Ive stuck six cans in my case to take back with me.

Depends on the weed really, Indica will give you a heavier type of stoned feeling whereas Saliva will make you a bit higher, i would err on the side of caution when it comes to edibles some can creep up and kick your arse, as mentioned above have a little bit and see how it goes, most decent coffeeshops will advise you, pre rolled can be ok some are rubbish, most coffeeshops, if they aren't too busy, will help you out and roll one for you if you're nice to them. Probably best not to mix it with beer, things could get messy, if you do get high and are feeling like a whitey is coming grab a sweet fizzy drink the sugar will help you out. A boat trip round the canals whilst high is rather pleasant. Enjoy

Nice one! It takes time, we've had Monty 6 years and he still has moments where he'll go to his safe place under the bed, mainly if there's noise from outside or if we have people round.

We used Air bnb in Berlin last weekend without any problems, ours was in Mitte on Invalidenstrasse across the street from the Natural History Museum.

Hennekes Boom is a decent shout, gets busy if the weather is good, slightly further east the is Brouwerij Het Ij, its a brewery in a windmill decent beers with a large beer garden, if you want to sample some Belgian/Dutch beers in a traditional setting cheek out In de Wilderman and old school dutch bar, loads of beer, its all very civilised but a nice experience ( one of my personal favourite bars in Amsterdam, although i'm not in the centre much ) You could check out Ton Ton club in the red light district, basically an adult arcade, plenty of games, a wide selection of beer, just round the corner on Warmoesstraat you have Belushi's cheap beer, decent bar food, beer garden, pool tables etc

Aye the Aultmore goes down really easy, wasn't sure of it to start with but i've learned never to judge a bottle on the first dram

Picked up a few bottles recently and received a few as gifts from clients, built up a decent wee collection, isnt Whisky great
