  1. The sound box arrived yesterday and is now set up. I'm pretty impressed and for £249 I would recommend it to any Sky Q customers who don't have a decent sound system already.
  2. Bradley Neil makes the cut in his 1st European Tour event.
  3. My sound box has now been dispatched according to Sky so I now await confirmation of delivery from a courier. Hopefully should be here within a few days.
  4. I almost feel sorry for Hughes. Imagine being so desperate to get back into management that you are reduced to a level where you think that there is some merit in having a better win rate than Gary Locke.
  5. On the flip side, we've not lost at home in the league since Locke's last game against Morton 9 months ago which is an excellent record.
  6. In the last calendar year we've only had two league victories away from home. It's an absolutely disgraceful record. Funnily enough our two wins were both 5-0.
  7. It's hard to know what's worse. Being ragdolled by a league 2 side or only beating East Fife 1-0.
  8. Bad result is an understatement. In the last month we've drawn with Forfar and been well beaten by Ayr, Dumbarton and Peterhead. Even our win against East Fife was an awful performance. Perhaps if the same thing didn't happen at the same time every season folk would have a bit more patience.
  9. If we don't win next week he's got to be under serious scrutiny. I knew when Lennox was fit he'd stick with Smith. It's absolutely brutal and I look forward to the usual garbage in his post match interview.
  10. Yeah apparently. I had registered my interest in October, heard no more and then found one day that I could go on and actually complete the purchase. The communication has been poor though. One generic email confirmation a couple of weeks ago which was more suited to confirmation of an order for a sky install rather than hardware but that's all. Hopefully it will be good but at £249 I thought it was worth a punt. I'll use it with one of the miniboxes if it ends up being a bit of a let down.
  11. Anyone ordered one of the Sky Sound Boxes? And if so how long did delivery take? I ordered about two weeks ago and still haven't received it. It does say it can take 30 days but I'm getting impatient all the same.
  12. The frustrating thing about Lennox's injury (well apart from the fact it was incurred against Brora Rangers!) was that he'd made two outstanding saves against Stranraer and Brora that probably only McGurn could've pulled off.
  13. He has parred in from there so gets his card with a few shots to spare. An excellent start to his pro career. Pity at least one of Law and McIntyre couldn't make it through, especially as the top 33 ended up getting through.

  15. After watching in disbelief as we extended Jordan Thompson and Scott Roberts' deals last January I am taking nothing for granted.
  16. I have a horrible feeling that Barry Smith will keep faith with Graeme Smith even when Lennox is fully fit.
  17. If Syme and McIntyre repeat their scoring from today they will be fine, in fact Syme probably just needs something around the 70 mark to get in. Law will probably need something in the mid 60s to be sure of making it but unfortunately Henry needs a miracle.
  18. I'm also a bit skeptical about how good our u20s are but there is no doubt they should have been used more than they have been. Brian, McKay and Court could easily have seen more game time than they have. It's also interesting that Forfar, who are one of our main rivals in the u20 league, have introduced at least a couple of their u20s into their first team in recent weeks and they appear to have improved. Although this could just be coinciding with the usual impact of a new manager.
  19. Half way through final qualifying at the Q school and currently Connor Syme and Robert MacIntyre are (just) on course to get their cards with both of them sneaking inside the top 25. Other Scots to make it through the cut were David Law (tied 34th) and Ewen Ferguson and Ross Kellett (who I think both sneak in at tied 68th). Syme was actually 95th before today's round but shot a 63 to move up 70 odd places. Some going when the pressure is on. Ferguson and Kellett have a lot of work to do but hopefully Syme, MacIntyre and Law can get inside the top 25. Edit: the cut is actually tomorrow and the top 70 and ties will go through so none of the above have made the cut just yet
  20. Davo could definitely do with some back up when arguing with the fans.
  21. Getting our defence back won't solve our attacking deficiencies. We are a one man show going forward and at the moment that man is a bit off the boil. Unfortunately Smith's pals Buchanan and Spence don't look like they will be able to step up to the plate.
  22. Buchanan and Vaughan actually linked up pretty well together. I'd play the two of them up front against Ayr and put in an extra midfielder to try and get a foothold in the match because I fear we are going to lose by 2-3 goals.
  23. This is turning into a disaster today. Spence and almost certainly Davidson out of the Ayr game and still half an hour to go. We've also been absolutely useless into the bargain.
