What I've noticed from the bits and pieces I've seen is his on course demeanor looks much better now, as if he's just enjoying playing golf. While acknowledging that his off course problems have affected his game over the last 10 years, it's hard not to wonder what might've been had he gotten his back sorted out properly years ago. Whether he wins another major or not, let's hope he remains fit and competitive for a few years yet because his return is a big shot in the arm for golf.

I wonder what sort of crowd they were expecting on Sunday? I doubt it would have been more than 1,500 if the game had gone ahead but that statement is worded as if they were expecting about 3,000.

Late penalty drama in Chile

At least on current form Tiger has some relevance to the tournament. It was much worse before his injury when he was hacking his way round 15 shots off the lead and we were still subjected to every shot. As for Rory, when he gets going like that I don't think anyone can live with him. It's been a couple of years since he's hit that level of performance but if he can keep it going for a few weeks he'll get his career slam.

Rory on a hot streak at Bay Hill and looking good for the win if he can avoid the water coming home. Tiger just finished and is 5th.

Could've been worse, but considering Ayr had the trickier fixture we've still lost ground when maybe we could have made some up. In a way Ayr's results are almost irrelevant because if we don't turn our results around immediately Ayr will be able to limp their way to the title.

As touched on above, for all that Smith is clearly out of his depth, most of the players need to have a serious look at themselves as well. They can't all blame being played out of position or in the wrong formation.
