  1. To be honest there was absolutely nothing on show today to suggest we'll win our last two matches anyway. I would think two draws will do the job for Ayr.
  2. $1000 (in 1989 money) per hole. Crazy golf indeed.
  3. I don't know how development fees are calculated but unless it comes to six figures I still don't see it as a very good deal from our point of view.
  4. I await confirmation of the Ross Callachan to Werder Bremen move with baited breath.
  5. Apparently Drysdale has tweeted that we should now understand why the Bates deal was done the way it was. I have to say I'm none the wiser.
  6. He broke through during an injury crisis when McKinnon was in charge and did well but lost his place once everyone was fully fit. Then he joined The Rangers on loan at the start of the next season. He looked a pretty good prospect for us but I can't imagine many people saw him getting a regular game at The Rangers let alone end up at the likes of Hamburg.
  7. I doubt if there is another club in the world who would agree to transfer an up and coming youngster to the second biggest club in their country, and then see him move to a Bundesliga side within 18 months, and not pocket a penny from it. What a club eh?
  8. Considering your record against us this season, well every season for a whole generation actually, I'm not surprised you feel that way. Imagine taking 0 points from 12 against a Rovers side managed by Barry Smith, a side so bad that it even let Ayr win a league title, a side so bad that it couldn't even manage a win out of four attempts away to Albion Rovers and Forfar. What a nightmare that must be.
  9. In 12 months time, when Barry is being poached by Dundee on the eve of the Premiership play offs, we'll all be looking back and laughing at that time we all wanted rid of him
  10. That's the u20s won the development league again. Give Easton the manager's job on a 7 year contract!!!!
  11. It's all set up for an infuriating cliffhanger of an ending to the season.
  12. You would assume if we fail in the play offs then Smith will be gone but I wonder if it's quite as clear cut as that. For example, if we were to put in a decent performance in the semi finals and knock out Alloa or Arbroath convincingly but then say lose in extra time or on penalties to Dumbarton, would the board consider that enough of a failure to warrant dismissal or would they give him another shot at it? Possibly the boards hand would be forced by supporter opinion because regardless of how we fail in the play offs I doubt many of us would be enthused by more of the same under Smith next season.
  13. I'm already looking forward to next season's hashtag. #thistimewemeanit
  14. It's 4 years to the day since Grant Murray (and John Baird) had their finest hour. Rovers v The Rangers
  15. Bit of an anticlimax there....
  16. His Ryder Cup exploits mean I quite like him. He's come a long way in the last year considering he was on the verge of losing his card on the US tour.
  17. Poulterer drains one at the last to force a play off. Love him or loathe him, he's some competitor. Looking likely be could find his way back into the Ryder Cup side this year.
  18. We can't even beat Ayr to the title. That's not a situation where awards should be dished out.
  19. Yeah you can never be certain in these situations but it's hard not to take a cynical view of it after all that's gone on. He's in a worse state than Michael Clarke was when he did his Phil Hughes press conference.
  20. I see Smith is now getting the sympathy vote after bawling his eyes out during his press conference.
  21. What really gets on my nerves is that misspelling of Connor. It's been gnawing away at me for weeks and weeks.
