  1. Hopefully Cowden for me. Partly because it would be funny to see the Pars left on the outside looking in next season but mainly because we've probably got more chance of staying up in a league with 3 part time sides in it. I think Cowden have got a good chance as well.
  2. I can't understand why Clarke has struggled so much there. I thought he'd be a great signing for them.
  3. I'm very surprised that we managed to keep Moon. On the other hand I'm just as surprised that we offered Fox a new deal. It really makes me wonder what the hell Murray was watching last season.
  4. The main thing is that the board react swiftly next season when things go wrong. If the first half a dozen games of the season are a continuation of this seasons garbage then a change will be required. Hopefully Murray gets the message and none of the above is required, but like others I've not got a lot of faith in that.
  5. Good interview with Paul Watson in the FFP today. Very critical of our performances since December and admitting it hasn't been good enough.
  6. I think you could be right about the pink panther in the 3-2 match! The game was the week before United beat Rangers in the cup final. I remember one of Jason Dair's goals coming from a run that started in our own half. We played some great stuff that season, as daft as that sounds considering we were relegated well before the end of the season.
  7. We'll then be incurring maintenance and upkeep costs for the railway stand and the north stand if we intend to keep using it beyond next season.
  8. The players have just taken the last six months off. It's the timing of the break that seems a bit strange to me.As far as Murray goes, unless he's playing his cards close to his chest, his media comments provide me with no assurance that he even feels like there is a problem to address.
  9. Yeah it seems a waste of precious resources to me. It'll never be used again after next season.
  10. Murray's take on it all? "It's the most successful season I've been involved with".
  11. I don't look at the players and management and think of them as the guys that defeated the not so mighty Rangers, I just see them as being part of a season to forget. As far as I'm concerned that cup win might as well never have happened.
  12. If our league form had been reversed and we'd pulled off some sort of great escape to finish 7th at least we might feel we were going forward. Instead we seem to be in some sort of irreversible decline, well until we face a glamour cup game anyway. In November I thought we were near enough certainties for the promotion play offs and ending up only 2 points ahead of the relegation play offs is beyond ridiculous. Although the players have to shoulder a fair portion of the blame for this it's up to Murray to get the best out of them and he's rarely managed this. The players don't appear to be playing for him at all. His worst failing though is his inability to adapt his game plan at all during the course of the game. He rarely changes formation, almost all his substitutions are like for like, and not once this season did Anderson and Cardle swap wings for even 5 minutes. Yesterday was the prime example of a man who has no idea how to influence the outcome of a game.
  13. What's been most disappointing has been our form since beating the Rangers. After back to back wins and clean sheets against Alloa and in the final I thought we'd kick on and pick up 2 or 3 wins in the remaining league games but no, it was straight back into slapstick comedy defending mode against Dumbarton. Our five games after the final saw us pick up just 3 points and concede another 11 goals.
  14. Horrendous season. Topped off nicely by today's shambles. Sick of Murray, sick of his assistants, sick of the board and sick of most of the players. Not looking forward to next season at all. That challenge cup win is just a distant memory now.
  15. Someone on fan talk has said the youth system is being totally revamped and we are taking part in some sort of Fife Youth Academy with the other senior sides in Fife.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised if almost half his goals had been as a sub. Unfortunately when he's started games this season he's done very little to impress.
  17. Decent crowd for a midweek game. Compare it to the 3 figure crowds at our last 2 midweek games.
  18. It's a pity that they didn't appear on the balcony of the town house like when we won the Coca cola cup. It would've been great to get one last chance to boo them.
  19. Yep. Just thankful to have survived after reading that. Thank God for our never say die battling qualities which earned us those consolations.
  20. Yeah maybe. I'm just hoping someone takes him off your hands so we have a chance of finishing above you next season
  21. Somehow I think there will be plenty of seats to go round. Only the games against The Rangers will be close to selling out the home end.
