Tbf to Carr, I'm sure they gave a stat a few weeks ago that in his time as Raiders QB they lose an average of close to 27 points per game. That's a tough gig for any QB.

Don't know if they had some inside info on commentary last night, but they did say they thought Hackett might not even make it to black Monday.

If you see my post in the week 16 thread, I'm struggling to think of a QB move which has gone any worse in the time I've watched NFL. It obviously isn't all Wilson's fault, but the two early picks that put them in a very deep hole in the first quarter were all down to him.

I've watched NFL since Channel 4 started showing it, and I'm struggling to think of a high profile QB move with such a huge contract that has gone anywhere near as badly as the Broncos signing Wilson. Also struggling to think of a QB whose form has regressed as quickly as Wilson's. For 10 years, no matter how well the 49ers were playing or if the Seahawks were struggling, facing Wilson gave me the fear. He was a player I loved watching when he wasn't facing the 49ers, it's been a rapid sad decline.

10 minutes in and you have to think that's game over.

How big a fine will Smith get for this?

Patriots fan was racially abused when they faced the Raiders earlier in the season. He was a guest of the Krafts at last night's game.

Another good win for the 49ers after a shaky first half. Still some concerns about gaps in pass coverage going forwards though, seem to give up a couple of big chunk plays per game.

Flicked over and caught the end of London Irish v Sarries. Irish were 22-17 ahead but ended up playing 12 v 14 with two men in the bin and both sides having a player red carded. They managed to hang on through the sin bin period then scored a great try late on to clinch it.

As it stands Jimmy G is a free agent in January, that was one of the conditions of his restructured one year deal.
