Alex Hales called up to England's T20 world cup squad to take Bairstow's place. It's his first call up since 2019, and no surprise that it's only come after Eoin Morgan has stepped aside.
Despite spending a shit ton of money, it's still a very meh squad that Chelsea have. Lots of industrious midfielders, but very little in the way of creativity.
Looking at the groupings, they haven't taken the easy option of lumping all the LIV guys together. On the other hand though they aren't in any "featured" groups either.
Contrast that with the 18 LIV players who will rock up at Wentworth next week who will be doing other players out of a place in the field who might desperately need the money and ranking points.

Imo the only game we've been outplayed for long spells was against Beith. We've lost poor goals in games and a couple of times lost two in quick succession which has left us up against it.
