    Penalty Spurs in first half stoppage time, VAR check and it's ruled as handball against Barnes. Soft but his arm is up at shoulder height. Kane converts to give Spurs the lead.

    I was lucky in that my best 8 scores at the start were all in the last 10 rounds, so knew I had a few free hits before anything decent drops out. Even now I still have 6 rounds to drop out before any that are counting. Problem just now is consistency, last 5 adjusted gross scores have been 91, 96, 84, 98 and 85, which is fucking ludicrous tbh.

    86 for a nett 70 in yesterday's medal. Front 9 of 40 including 5 pars and nothing worse than a 5. Bit more mixed on the back 9, ran up an 8 on 13 including a 3 putt from 15 feet. Also bogeyed all 3 par 3s, a 6 on the par 5 15th and finished with a 3 putt double bogey on 18. Started the season at 16.1, down to 14.5 after yesterday.

    Iirc he was in the big training squad at the start of Covid, but didn't get near the test team. One of a few players who started well but couldn't sustain it.

    Century for Joe Root batting at number 5 for Yorkshire in the Roses County Championship match at Headingley. Lancashire still well on top though after declaring on 566-9 yesterday with Keaton Jennings scoring 238.

    Good on her. It's going to get interesting in the next few weeks. Apparently between both tours 80 players have asked to be released to play in a 48 man tourney. Going to be 32 rather pissed off players who have outed themselves as money grabbing b*****ds then don't actually get to play for the big purse.

    One of the things that I find astonishing is that multiple Arsenal managers have thought that Holding is an EPL calibre defender. He looks like a bomb scare every time I see him play.

    Ultimately it's going to end up in court. Players will claim they are private contractors and can play where they like, the Tour will say they are a members organisation and that membership can be withdrawn. Will get quite messy very quickly imo.
