  1. Changes aplenty to the Scotland squad. Gray, Cummings, Sutherland and Redpath all injured while Javan Sebastian also drops out. In come uncapped Warriors Ollie Smith and Kiran McDonald, along with Berghan, Kebble, Sykes and Lang. Josh Bayliss also available after missing the first two games
  2. Carlton score 124-6 from their 10 overs.
  3. Oman took just 2.5 overs to chase down the Philippines 36, they play Ireland tomorrow. Nepal beat Canada and will face the UAE in the other semi. Both finalists qualify for the tournament proper.
  4. And for it to happen on a Sunday too.
  5. Ireland won by 7 wickets against Germany with almost 7 overs to spare as they ended up as group winners after Bahrain beat the UAE. Ireland will face either Nepal, Canada or Oman in the semi tomorrow, with the winner going to the T20 World Cup in Canada are playing Nepal at the moment and were all out for just 80. Oman skittled the Philippines for just 36.
  6. Ireland cruising to a win over Germany in their final round robin match in the T20 World Cup Qualifying tourney. They lost to the UAE in their opening match then beat Bahrain on Saturday. A win today gets them into the semis.
  7. Cam Norrie won the Delrap Open last night to claim a 3rd ATP title, a 7-6, 7-6 win over Reilly Opelka.
  8. Wordle 247 3/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833]
  9. Rory eviscerating Mickelson in his post round interview.
  10. For a top tier player, Rory's short irons are sometimes awful. He had the shortest approach shot in to the 18th of all 3 players, but ended up furthest away by a distance. Bob shaves the hole with his birdie attempt and taps in for a closing 71. To not play a round over par on your debut at Riviera is very good going.
  11. Bob missed the fairway on the par 5 17th, lays up then stiffs wedge to 3 feet. Rolls in the birdie to get back to -8. Rory found the green in two but was 70 feet away. Gets his birdie with 2 putts, his birdie putt was a fraction longer than Bob's.
  12. Bob's birdie attempt on 16 lipped out but he makes par.
  13. Releasing this has been the thing that seems to have made a lot of the pros distance themself from the Saudi league. Wonder how fuckers like Charley Hoffman can dig themselves out the hole that they had dug themselves into?
  14. Been watching Bob in the featured group on hesgoal along with Rory. He had a birdie putt horseshoe out on 11 which alomost came back to his feet, then birdied 12 to go to 9 under. Been a struggle since though, had a great par save on 13, but dropped shots on 14 and 15 to drop back to -7. Niemann is leading by a distance now. Bob has a birdie chance on the par 3 16th.
  15. Nothing more bizarre than the PGA Tour tweeting all the stuff about the shirtless celebrations on the 16th last week, and now apparently are going to fine the players involved
  16. He is on a sponsor's invite this week. At present the only majors he has qualified for are the Masters and The Open. Generally the PGA invite anyone in the top 100 of the OWGR who haven't qualified by other means so he should be ok for that. US Open he will get in as long as he is in the top 60 on the OWGR two weeks before or on the week the tourney is due to be played. That's provided he doesn't qualify by other means for that either.
  17. Dustin Johnson has been the highest ranked player whose name has been regularly linked to the Saudi tour. He has come out today and pledged his allegiance to the PGA Tour. It would be glorious if players had conned Bryson into thinking that they were all ready to jump ship and he is the only big name to go. [emoji23]
  18. Missed the first ten minutes of the second half. [emoji85]
  19. Not only is Eve a very keen golfer, she's also very good at it. IIRC she haa a 3 or 4 handicap. She's been an on course reporter for Radio 5 Live a couple of times during Open coverage.
  20. Fantastic performance, like the Swedes in the men's final, got an early lead and controlled it from there. Funny the things that pop into your head sometimes. 4 years ago I watched the curling with my Dad while he was in the Marie Curie hospice. It was one of the last things we watched together.
  21. Suppose the flip side is she might fancy doing the full 4 year cycle with what is still a relatively new and inexperienced team. I'm sure they said at the start of the round robin that this was the first time Hayley had played with the stones with the lights in them.
  22. Similar to Rhona Martin and co who also scraped through with a 5-4 record. She hasn't said much, wonder if the hip surgery she had in recent years might make her contemplate bowing out on top.
