  1. Chance of a 4 here which would all but kill the game.
  2. Poor shot from the Japanese skip, thankfully.
  3. Kiss of death from me, chance of a 2 now.
  4. Japan certainly not giving themselves much chance of a multiple score by allowing GB to have lots of stones in the house.
  5. Eve fell on her arse during one of the round robin games.
  6. Wordle 246 3/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833]
  7. Random question, but why did they ever come up with 38 minutes for the game clock? Was 10 x 4 minutes just too simple?
  8. Let's hope it continues for a bit, like the first 10 ends. [emoji1787]
  9. Japanese 3rd nearly missed the guard completely.
  10. It's all must win games for ourselves, Neilston and Drumchapel from here on in. We host Neilston at Petershill Park next Saturday, with us currently on a club record run of 14 straight league wins. Neilston on a great run too, having won their last 6 in Conference C, scoring 32 and conceding just 2.
  11. Good start, lifting a 2 at the first end.
  12. This was him last year. And we wonder how he managed to nearly kill himself the next day?
  13. Lukaku only touched the ball 7 times in 90 minutes. Ooft.
  14. Saw a tweet earlier that someone with a WHS index of 5 would get 11 shots from the back tees at Riviera.
  15. Michael Portillo's latest series kicked off in Scotland and he stopped off at the place that makes Minecraft in Dundee. It's CEO was explaining that one of the reasons the games industry kicked off in Dundee was down to the ZX Spectrum being made at the Timex factory, and any computers that failed the quality control checks were sold off cheap to the staff. A lot of folk who were in at the start of the games industry in the city had learned how to programme on a Spectrum, probably typing in those programmes from input that took about 3 days to get done all for a ball to bounce across the screen or something. 1. Manic Miner 2. Football Manager ( Bizarrely I can still remember transfer bids were only accepted if they ended in 89) 3. Operation Wolf 4. Saboteur 5. The Biz ( Managed a band and tried to make a number one hit)
  16. Had 5 Live on earlier in the week and one of the Universities had done a study on how satisfied medal winners were with what they had won. Bronze medal winners were generally happier than silver medal winners. Silver medal winners were usually disappointed at missing out on gold, while bronze medal winners were happier that they had won a medal and not came 4th and missed out altogether.
  17. Close but no goldfish. Lost it in the first couple of ends tbh.
  18. Edin leaves his stone well short, a chance for Mouat.

  20. Got this message earlier. Was told that 2 of the management committee attended last week's game and were far from happy about what they found. Biggest cause for concern was the lack of security for players and officials when leaving the field. "Donald Dewar stadium unfit for any future WoSFL fixtures from now. Their game against Ardrossan this weekend now postponed as it was too short notice for them to get anywhere else. They will fulfil all the remaining games at New Tinto."
  21. Thought they guarded the wrong stone with Eve's last shot, should have been blocking the stone that the Swedish skip just knocked in.
