  1. Time to go for the American approach. Just play among themselves and call the winners of The Hundred World Champions.
  2. 8 for Friday. Been off work this week, I usually do the quiz at my 3am dinner break, keep forgetting about it when I'm off.
  3. Wordle 217 6/6 [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833]
  4. Good news for Scotland's women, they now only need to win one game to qualify for the world cup.
  5. A few ODIs today. Sri Lanka bowled Zimbabwe out for 70 after scoring 254-9. Afghanistan beat the Netherlands by 36 runs, the Dutch all out after 48 overs chasing 226. Most pleasing was South Africa chasing down 288 to beat India with 11 balls to spare. Malan and de Cock got them off to a good start, but Bavuma, Markram and van der Dussen saw them home, all scoring in the high 30s at just about a run a ball.
  6. Every chance given how Watford have gone through managers.
  7. Bosa cleared concussion protocols and is good to go.
  8. Padraig playing like us mere mortals.
  9. Dennis causing Norwich all sorts of problems but lucky not to be sent off. Got a booking for a tackle, and has just gone down in the box looking for a penalty with what looked like no contact.
  10. A huge blow for Scotland with news that Owen Farrell might miss the game at Murrayfield. A danger then that Eddie might pick a 9-10-12 that actually works.
  11. Round our way we have a small Co-op and a NISA, the latter sells the Co-op branded stuff at a higher price.
  12. His last 20 competitive rounds have all been in the 60s.
  13. They were complaining it was windy in the afternoon yesterday. With 12 mph winds. [emoji23]
  14. Long thread on Twitter yesterday about the real rate of inflation, with some supermarket prices going up by well over 100% in the past year.

  16. Athletic Club scored to go 2-1 ahead late on, but Pedri equalised in stoppage time. Extra time just about to get underway.
  17. First of all, sorry for your loss. When my dad passed away I sat down to write a few notes to help the minister, and ended up pretty much writing the eulogy for him. Start with the factual stuff, e.g. Where and when she was born, her parents, any siblings How she met your dad, wedding etc When you and any siblings were born Work life if she had one Then on to interests, holidays, any wee stories or memories you or family or friends want to share. If you aren't used to standing up and speaking in front of folk, my advice would be either to pick one person and speak as if you are talking to them, or pick a spot on a wall or something and talk to it.
  18. Matt Prior highlighting that it's not necessarily the best kids who make it through youth cricket, but more likely to he the ones whose parents can afford it Age-group cricket pricing out talented children, says former England wicketkeeper Matt Prior - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/60071225
