    Week 7

For an experienced QB, that was dreadful from Matt Ryan.
  2. Stunning performance by Pakistan, a 10 wicket win with 13 balls left. Don't think you can underestimate that they know the conditions here better than most of the teams in the tourney.
  3. Never ceases to amaze me how different Pogba is with France compared to Man Utd. That's a shocker of a tackle, Man Utd fans will be delighted at watching Fred and McTominay together for another few games.
  4. India struggled up to 151 mainly down to a captain's knock from Kohli, assisted by Pant. Pakistan off to a flyer with 18 from the first two overs.
  5. Sri Lanka win by 5 wickets with 7 balls left. Asalanka 80 not out from 45 balls as Sri Lanka record their biggest run chase at a T20 World Cup.
  6. Rajapakse out for 53. Sri Lanka still need 7 from 10 balls.
  7. Asalanka has anchored this run chase superbly, but it's been a great knock from Rajapakse who came in when they were in a wee bit of trouble and has hit 50 from 28 balls.
  8. Big momentum swing as Sri Lanka hit 22 off the 16th over. 24 needed from 24 balls. Bangladesh will be rueing a couple of dropped catches.
  9. Bangladesh ended up on 171-4. Sri Lanka were looking good in their chase, but have just lost 3 wickets for 8 runs in 10 balls and are now 80-4 after 10. Still well in it but need to try and keep wickets in hand for a bit.
  10. Hefty bit of needle after after Bangladesh's first wicket fell. Litton Das caught at mid off and whatever happened after it he and Lahiru had to be pulled apart with Litton waving his bat in the bowler's face. I'm sure the match ref will be getting involved after that one. Bangladesh going well at 55-1 after 7.
  11. Gaun yirsel Hideki san. More fantasy points for me.
  12. Will be a travesty if Ugo doesn't go out tonight, by far the worst dance of the night.
  13. Think it is exactly that. The football pundits have zero sense of perspective when it comes to comparing England to other teams, we've had years of them winning a couple of games at a tourney then the pundits immediately get carried away and have them winning it. Bizarrely, the opposite has often been true in the cricket coverage. England's batting gives them a great chance to win this tourney but I haven't really heard many of their own pundits talking them up too much.
  14. A great spell for Hosein, 2-24 mainly in the powerplay against a team looking to finish the game quickly is an excellent effort.
  15. Having given it out on the field I don't think any angle proved one way or another whether he had his fingers under it or not.
  16. Surprised they got to 118-9 in the end, looked like they would be short of even that. Rabada smacked Starc back over his head for a glorious 6 which was pleasing, but it was a chaotic innings from the Saffers.
