  1. Decision time looming for the England players over whether to go to Australia or not. I can see several mainstays not going tbh. Ashes: Covid, quarantine and Joe Root - answering the key questions - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/58707159 Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  2. She went through a company called ProDream USA, whose alumni include Liam Johnston who went to the same university, and Grant Forrest who went to the University of San Diego. They run qualifying tourneys in the UK to try and find the best young golfers. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  3. Richard Sherman being courted by a few teams, but first stop for him is Tampa. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  4. Scotland win by 18 runs, Oman hit 255-9 from their 50 overs. Sharif and Sole were both a bit expensive. Lancashire were 78 all out, Warwickshire already 31-0 in reply. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  5. Yep, he would be one, difference with him though is that he never came back! Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  6. Lancashire 57-8 at lunch. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  7. First Scottish player I can remember going down the US college route was Richie Ramsay, though there might have been others even before him. Certainly of the latest batch of Scots on tour, MacIntyre, Hill and Forrest all played at NCAA level. Young lass from Bishopbriggs has just started a scholarship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  8. Ewen Ferguson still looking good for bagging himself full European Tour playing rights for next season, Craig Howie now right on the cut off line though and not a big gap to 16th. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  9. Lancashire having an absolute disaster I'm the first innings of the Bob Willis trophy final. Warwickshire had them at 12-6 in the 9th over, Lancs rallied a bit but have just lost another wicket to be 47-7 and it's not even 12 noon yet. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  10. It's that bit where your brain is clearly thinking "you can't knife this through the green". And your hands and arms are happy to oblige.
  11. Yet when Bryson hammered his 417 yard drive on the 5th the other day it wasn't shown until much later in the US, yet we saw it live. Saw a tweet along the lines that the US coverage was 30 minutes of adverts at a time interrupted by some golf coverage.
  12. That's madness, they could lose the wristband. Would be much better to put a tattoo on their arm......
  13. I don't rate Curran either tbf, not a bad return in home conditions but wouldn't fancy him in Australia. They need to find a spinner from somewhere, Root is just as dangerous as Bess or Leach imo. Would be surprised if Rashid gets a call but he can't be any worse than those 2 imo.
  14. It's either going to be Woakes or Curran that will be asked to fit that role imo if Stokes is still unavailable by then.
  15. The way the Americans played I doubt a couple of different players, or even pairings with what was there, would have made any difference. Would just have been Titanic deckchair shuffling. I know they have to try and encourage players to play on the European Tour by stretching out the qualification period, but they have to find a way to boost the points in the months leading up to the Ryder Cup to reward the players in form.
  16. It was almost as funny by the look of twitter. Sergio got it from the European team and DJ from the USA. Tony Jacklin presented it. He's had plenty to say about Sergio in the past.
