Madness. Hits him late and when he is off the ground for starters. The only reason he hits him in the chest, which is still marginally high, is because he is off the ground, would have been straight to his head otherwise.

David Drysdale had another half decent finish which lifts him to a projected 121st on the road to Dubai, and a wee bit of daylight between himself and the magic number of 126th. Francesco Molinari was taking on the world 3 years ago. Today he dropped below the line for keeping his card automatically, although I'm sure he has an ongoing exemption from his 2018 PGA and Open Championship wins which will save him.

The prior to return test is what ultimately put us off going abroad in October, know a few folk who have been away and they've all said it was hard to fully relax until they had the negative results for coming home. The cost of having to stay there isn't a problem as you can be insured for that, it's more the fear of being stuck in a room for 10 days and the other practicalities of work being pissed off etc.

There is still one huge flaw in those stats, they don't say how many deaths were actually caused by Covid, rather than someone who died because of something else but tested positive within the last 60 days. E.g., we had a lot of positive tests at Petershill last month, everybody thankfully that had symptoms has now recovered. If one of them dropped dead tomorrow they would still be counted among the Covid death stats.

At least he is being honest, he won't be the only one that struggles to switch from playing as an individual to being part of a team. Only thing is though, just because he has qualified he doesn't have to play. If he dislikes it so much he could give up his spot.

Gutted to hear that Michael Holding has switched off his microphone for the last time. Could listen to him talking all day, not just because of the accent, but because he was always on the money on just about everything. Hope he has a long and happy retirement. Dread to think who Sky might replace him with.

Just reading a few tweets there that in some parts of Australia golf is still banned due to Covid restrictions. New South Wales has classified golf as exercise and has allowed two ball play all the way through, and back to four balls next week if all players are double vaxxed. Victoria on the other hand has lumped golf in with organised sport and courses remain closed.
