    Played in the book medal this morning, 87 for a nett 70, once again managed to have nothing worse than a 6 on the card. I had a gross 91 which was a counting score dropping off of my 20 this morning, so by my back of a fag packet reckoning I'll be down about another 0.5 to 16.1.

    I've thought for a while Garcia and Poulter were certs, can't see him not picking Lowry. Now I think Garcia and Lowry are definites and it's a coin toss between Rose and Poulter. Rose might have done enough to get the nod.

    As I suspected at the time, it's not even up to Raducanu whether she got treatment right away or not.

    Played golf with a guy last week whose wife is a staff nurse at Wishaw, they've lost 6 nurses who just couldn't handle it any more and left. The logistics are also problematic too. The ICU can handle 4 Covid patients max, if they end up with 5 they have to move them into a general ward, which means emptying the rest of the beds in there.

    I was shit at sports, to compensate I've watched thousands of hours of it over the years. If Raducanu pulls this off then it might just be the most remarkable thing I've ever seen.

    It's bizarre, she is getting more support than Shelby Rogers did when she played Raducanu. The standard has been phenomenal so far, even more so when you consider the two players are teenagers.

    69 for Drysdale and 68 for Law today sees them both go to -7 in T25th place. If they can finish well tomorrow it would just about secure their cards for next year.

    Definitely. Poulter and Garcia are certainties imo, with 2 or 3 players in with a chance of the 3rd spot. I can't see him not picking Lowry if he does end up out of the automatic spots.
