  1. Lee fires a dart into the par 3 17th and gets his shot back to take a 3 shot lead onto the 18th.
  2. Lee misses his par putt, Burns holes his. Stallings birdies 18 to join the rest on -21, 2 behind Lee.
  3. Play to resume at 10.15.
  4. Lee has a 15 footer for par when they come back out. Rain hit a wee bit earlier than they thought but there are only 3 groups left on the course and 2 of them are playing the 18th, so the organisers were very close to getting it spot on.
  5. Craig Howie won on the Challenge Tour in Sweden, or cigared it I should say, winning by 7 shots. Continues a good start to the season. Ewen Ferguson was tied 4th. Just noticed that Matteo Manassero qualified to play on the Challenge Tour this year.
  6. Barca take 1 point from their last 3 home games, losing the two games that they took the lead in. Utterly shambolic in defence. All down to the final games, with Atleti away at Real Valladolid who need a win to try and stay up, and Real Madrid at home to Villareal who are trying to get into a European spot.
  7. Good to see Chris Wood finding some form again, he was 1107th on the OWGR heading into the British Masters but should jump a bit with his T11th finish. Good article on Golf Digest about him.
  8. Lee birdied the last, but so does Sam Burns who goes to 20 under and stays 1 ahead of Lee as Burns looks for his second win in as many weeks. 4 players on 17 under including Spieth. Early start tomorrow with an awful looking weather forecast, 2 tee start and 3 ball groups to speed things along. Sky on from 3pm.
  9. Spieth dropped a couple of shots but putts in from off the green for eagle on 18 to get back to t3rd. Sam Burns has a one shot lead heading for the last, where KH Lee looks like getting a birdie to move level. Knox and Laird hit -2 and -1 respectively but are well out of contention 9 and 11 shots behind.
  10. Amateur hour from both sides in the last few minutes.
  11. But if you isolate as instructed, why would you need a test unless you have symptoms?
  12. Why would you take a test just because someone in your house is positive? My wife had symptoms, tested positive, then lived in the spare room for 10 days. My daughter and I isolated as instructed and neither of us had symptoms. No need to be tested.
  13. I really can't get my head round why you would go for a test with no symptoms. My missus had it in November, and the only way I was going for a test was if I had developed symptoms. I had to go for one last week as I was going in for surgery, I can think of a lot more pleasant ways to pass a few minutes.
  14. Bland wins his first European Tour event at the 478th attempt, oldest first time winner ever. Holes a 3 footer to win the first playoff hole. 1 bogey in 4 rounds, the least anyone has ever had at the Belfry.
  15. Not guilty for once. Comparatively poor back 9s from both Hill and MacIntyre hitting 36 when just about everybody else in contention was hitting 33 or 34.
  16. It's a packed leaderboard at the Belfry heading in to today's final round of the British Masters. Hill and MacIntyre 1 off the lead but with 21 players within 4 shots of Eddie Pepperell on -10 it should be a good final day.
  17. Knox birdies 15 too, now 8 under.
  18. Birdies 14 to go to -7. Currently 63 players at -6 or better. 27 others are on -5 where the cut line is just now but with some of them still having plenty holes to play it won't be a surprise if it moves to -6. Plenty of players sweating it out in the clubhouse.
  19. Cut at -5 at the moment, -6 would be as far as it would go so Laird looks to be safely in for the weekend.
  20. A massive error by the Herald headline writer, or a prediction for July?
  21. 132 out of 156 players under par. Martin Laird is one of the ones who isn't after a 3 birdie, 3 bogey level par round.
  22. Could have been tense, but shouldn't be now as Odriozola restored the 2 goal cushion, then a blunder lets Benzema score a 4th into an empty net.
  23. Real Madrid's turn to sweat it out. They were 2-0 up but Granada have just pulled a goal back. Could be a tense last 20 minutes for the visitors.
