I had an op on my arm yesterday so will be out of action for a few weeks. Looks like today was a good one to miss, looking at the live scores for our medal and there is only one player with a nett score under 70 across all 3 divisions. 2 former club champions and the current one have NR'd.
A 66 for Hill today, he's in 3rd place 3 shots behind the leader. Ramsay, Syme and Forrest can all have good finishes with a low score tomorrow. Arnaus ended up 1 over for the day with his 9 and two other bogeys on his card, decent recovery tbf, but he's now 7 shots off the lead.
It won't even count in the mass shootings statistics as she "only" shot 3 people. 178 incidents this year by the end of April compared to 108 at the same stage this year. Only plus point is that despite the increase in incidents there haven't been any at a school or university this year, with 2 last year. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mass_shootings_in_the_United_States_in_2021
Cut was finally at +2 and 78 players are in for the weekend. Only 20 players managed to shoot under 70 yesterday and most of them were early starters as conditions got tougher as the day went on. Said in his interview that his drive shape now will be a fade, and that if he needs to hit a draw it will be with a 3 wood from now on. Also pointed this out...
It's just moved to 2 over, bringing a lot of guys who were finished early and thought they had no chance back in. Currently 81 players in for the weekend.
On the WHS system if you haven't played the full 20 rounds then it counts a percentage of your rounds played, and I think it will only be counting your best one at the moment. Edit: found the graphic with the percentages explained.
Not even close. Harris, Hogg, Price, Russell and Duhan in the backs. Zander Fagerson, Sutherland and Watson in the forwards. Surprised and delighted tbh. Let the Irish, Welsh and English seethe commence.
