  1. One thing you have to praise England for today is how tight they have been with the bowling, 57 overs with only 1 extra and that was a leg bye. I can't recall so many balls being bowled without a no ball or a wide.
  2. You just can't see the Windies surviving 30 odd more overs with just 4 wickets.
  3. Link to the BBC story. Patrick Mahomes and Drew Brees among players calling for NFL coronavirus action - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/53470735
  4. Windies need 312 to win with 85 overs to get through. Think England could have chucked it a couple of overs back and would still have plenty of runs to spare. I think that target is far too high for the Windies to think they can win it.
  5. England have to declare by 11.50 imo, give the Windies an hour before lunch to get through, especially if they want to get the second new ball for the last few overs in the day.
  6. JJ Watt was the one who probably tweeted the most detail, JC Tretter is head of the NFLPA. Reports are that the NFL are refusing to implement their own medical experts advice, with an overriding feeling that coaches are of the view that everybody is going to get sick eventually.
  7. Surprised given how stodgy it was last night, but another 10-15 minutes of this then they can declare and have the Windies in batting before 12 noon.
  8. For all that England were positive yesterday, it wasn't all that easy to score quickly. I can't see them declaring with any less than 270-280 of a lead.
  9. He should have been whisked into the scorer's room before being interviewed, surely that shouldn't have been too difficult to do?
  10. Rahm wins by 5, or at least for the moment. Chance he will get a 2 shot penalty as his ball appeared to move as he addressed it before his chip in on 16.
  11. And Palmer follows him into the same bunker.
  12. That should be that as Rahm channels his inner Seve to chip in from the rough on 16 for birdie to go back 4 ahead. He has just driven into the bunker at 17 though.
  13. Rahm certainly doing his bit, drops another shot to cut his lead to 3 with 4 to play. If he did manage to lose, McIlroy would hang onto no1 spot in the world rankings.
  14. The stuff at New Brandon was prefab concrete blocks, would be lifted out the same way they were lifted in.
  15. Palmer birdies, Rahm doesn't, Rahm leads by 4 with 6 to play.
  16. Rahm went bogey-double bogey on 10 and 11 to see his lead cut to 5, but both he and Palmer have hit crackers into the tricky par 3 12th.
  17. Yep, there's only a handful of players under par today at all, so to be -4 is great golfing.
  18. Pretty much fitted as standard on everything now too, but as an auto spark of 30+ years Volvo were definitely the first I saw them on.
  19. Jon Rahm absolutely cigarring his way to the win at the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village, and with it World Number 1 spot. He started the day 4 ahead of Tony Finau, who must be the only player with a worse record on a Sunday than McIlroy. Thru 9 holes Rahm has gone from -12 to -14, while Finau has dropped 6 shots to go back to -2. Rahm sits 8 clear of Ryan Palmer, with Matt Fitzpatrick in 3rd spot on -4.
  20. I was actually delighted to see England come out so positively with Stokes and Buttler even if they didn't quite pull it off. Push on in the morning to try and get 300 in front, then hope Broad can pull off another 8 for 15 or something.
  21. Re: Testing figures. Does anybody know if these include people who are now undergoing regular testing? E.g., my mate works at Erskine and all their care and admin staff at all their homes are now being tested weekly.
