  1. Unbelievable start to the game.
  2. Definitely worse than it used to be, some of the obvious spelling and grammar mistakes, especially online, are appalling. Someone shared one on Facebook this morning from the Scottish Scum which falls into the stating the obvious / if your Auntie had baws categories. "If Hearts had started this season the same way they had last season, they would be joint top of the league."
  3. The flip side is we have just come off of 5 straight home games, 2 of them were Scottish ties. We were supposed to be away in the league to Neilston on 5th October, but ended up playing Cambuslang at home due to Neilston drawing a Scottish tie, and our away match at Craigmark on Saturday was also off due to us playing in the Scottish. An away league match at Dalry was off. At the moment our next scheduled home match is on December 21st, although we might get lucky and get another home Scottish draw. Edit: Just had a look and found that we have now been sceduled to play Blantyre Vics at home on December 7th, to replace the Cambuslang game that was brought forward a few weeks ago.
  4. The worry at the moment is we consistently seem to balls it up in games where we are favourites. The Netherlands game was always going to be a tough one, but we should really have been winning the other games. They were on course to win the opening match against Singapore before blowing it, and were completely abject trying to chase Namibia's 160 target. I'm not confident at all for the play-off match whoever we play.
  5. Our next 3 league fixtures are away from home along with an away West tie. If we get an away draw in the Scottish then we will be away for all 5 Saturdays in November. It will be a case of wait and see if our games are on.
  6. Don't like siding with Eddie but that is a cracking put down. Andy Nicol did make the point on the radio on Saturday that nobody remembers how well Australia played against the All Blacks in the 2003 semi because they went on to lose the final. The same would happen to England if they don't follow up Saturday's performance with a win in the final. Will be interesting to see how SA line up, it was the extra power they got from the introduction of their subs that won them the match on Sunday. Do they start with some of those guys or look for them to make the same impact off the bench?
  7. I'll ask the staff at the complex, he would have had to fill in a permission form before they would let him film.

    Week 8

Bad 5 minutes at the start of the half when they gave up a safety, a TD and a 2 point conversion. After that though they just carried on where they had left off in the first half. What was really good was being able to use a lot of back ups on a short week with the trip to face the Cardinals on Thursday.
  9. No idea who he was either, I assumed he was one of yours. [emoji23]
  10. We've had young keeper Andrew Wilson on loan for a few months, and he has been in good form. He had an excellent game on Saturday with a couple of superb saves as we pulled off a surprise 1-0 win over Clydebank in the Scottish Junior Cup.
  11. I know Stevie Doogan missed the goal on Saturday as he was still setting up after trying to thaw himself out at half time, is there any other highlights available?
  12. When opposition fans say you are "fucking lucky b*****ds" when you have beaten them 1-0 and your keeper has had the temerity to make a handful of good saves. Yes Bankies fans, I'm looking at you.
  13. The thing with both Krul penalty saves, if they checked it with VAR, what did they actually look at? He appeared to be well off his line at both spot kicks.
  14. I've never understood what Wenger saw in Xhaka, he should have been one of the first players Emery should have punted out the door.

    Week 8

51-13 final score for the 49ers. It's been 26 years since they scored that many in a game.

    Week 8

Even the 49ers back ups are getting sacks now, 7th of the game for the D. Mullens in for Garropolo and his first play is to hand it off to Mostert who runs it in for a long range TD to bring up 50 points. Gould kicks the XP.

    Week 8

Then McCaffrey scores a 40 odd yard TD run and they convert a 2 pointer. 27-13 and game on.

    Week 8

49ers force the Panthers to punt on their first possession of the second half, but then Garropolo gets sacked in the endzone for a safety. 27-5 to the 49ers.

    Week 8

Andy Dalton in the record books today, but not one he would want. He is the first QB to record both a 0-8 and an 8-0 record from the first 8 games of a season.

Bosa is everything I hoped he would be, 3 more sacks for him. Good to be enjoying 49ers Sunday night's again, it's been a while.

Been a great first half, Coleman has some wheels on him.

Certainly hope not from this position.
