I don't think so, even before they lost the two early wickets. They batted appallingly in India recently, only got over 200 once. Yes a lot was to do with conditions but there was a lot of wickets simply thrown away. They are a team in transition and still trying to fill a lot of holes created by retirements in the last year or so.
England have another 10th wicket stand to thank for getting them over 300, Broad and Finn doing well.
Saffers will be under pressure now as they have been very poor with the bat lately.
Jarryd Hayne has been put back on the 49ers active roster, he might actually get to see some snaps in the backfield with almost every other RB injured.
Root goes for 24, 49-3, trapped lbw by the first ball from Piedt which was a cracker. England went for the review but it was hitting the top of middle stump.
An Android Tv box which I had picked out myself, and a surprise from the missus that proved she does occasionally listen to my inane ramblings, a voucher for the Glasgow Central Station tour. Usual assortment of smelly stuff, Dvds, books etc.
Anderson confirmed as out of the first test.
TMS have tweeted that Woakes was bowling first in the nets before Footitt and Jordan this morning, they think he will get the nod.
I thought watching it live they were lucky not to be ejected. Norman has been hit with 2 fines for his part, $8681 for a face mask, and $17363 for striking an opponent in the head/neck area.
The NFL keep making noises about making the game safer in regards to head injuries, IMO going helmet to helmet in the manner that Beckham did was worthy of ejection from the game on it's own.
OBJ banned for one game. Footage has also appeared of him having to be separated from Panther Marcus Ball before the game after Ball approached him with a baseball bat in his hand. The video is on Nfl.com.
The temporary relaxation of driver's hours has been extended to January 6th, meaning they can still drive up to 11 hours a day instead of 9, and can do 66 hours driving a week. Not much consolation for the drivers I would guess.
Been a whole since they played in Aberdeen is it not? Rugby Park has been used for these sort of games before but the artificial pitch possibly rules it out now.
Warriors hang on for a 9-6 win. Scarlets missed a kick late on to level it. Not pretty but a great battling performance, especially when they had two men in the bin at the same time.
Hanging on for dear life atm, went down to 13 men for a spell and Lee Jones has had to come on at scrum half now to replace Hart who had clashed heads with Seymour.
Northampton and Racing 92 drew 9-9 last night in what appears to have been a bit of a boring game. That puts Racing on top of the section with 12 points from 3 games and Saints second with 10 from 4. A repeat of last week's bonus point win for the Warriors would also put them on 10 points from 3 games.
I can beat that with Petershill tbh, but a few of them were for one off games same as the ones he cites for Clydebank. Bellshill's grounds were all for at least a whole season.
Off the top of my head, when Petershill Park was being built we played at the following as home games.
St. Roch's
Ashfield
Maryhill
Cambuslang
Pollok (Scottish Cup replay v Arthurlie)
Cumbernauld (Scottish tie v Newburgh)
Dunipace (Scottish replay v Ballingry Rovers)
and old and new Petershill Parks makes that 9.
They might have done, can't think of any others off the top of my head. They've used Fullarton a few times when they've been in between grounds in Bellshill.
Forgot Clyde had used so many too.
Been to around 130 different grounds in various grades, but wonder if anyone can beat this one.
I've seen Bellshill Athletic play at 4 different home grounds, 5 if you count groundsharing. Has anyone seen a team play at more home grounds than this?
Brandon Park
New Brandon Park
Matt Busby Sports Centre
Rockburn Park
And sharing at Vale of Clyde.
