  1. No, it's on the site of New Barrowfield Park.
  2. New Springfield Park is at the bottom of Silverdale Street off London Road, about 100 yards or so east of the junction of London Road and Springfield Road.
  3. Taken from Britain from Above Centre left is New Springfield Park, home of Strathclyde Juniors. Top Centre is Helenslea Park, home of Parkhead Juniors and facing that on the other side of London Road is New Barrowfield Park, home to Bridgeton Waverley.
  4. Crash for Cavendish today with a couple of kilometres left, bit shaken but no major damage hopefully. Andre Greipel takes the stage win.
  5. It's in Edinburgh in autumn, if it's pishing down and blowing a gale like it was in Australia the other week, then who knows!
  6. Frank will be too busy trying to figure out where his brother is.....
  7. If we can beat Tonga and SA in the autumn tests ( huge task I know) then we could maybe sneak into the top 8 in time for the WC2015 draw in December. Could make a massive difference to our chances of making it through the group stages.
  8. Hopefully the team will come out of this tour with some belief that they can score tries and beat higher ranked teams. Think we might move back above Samoa in the rankings after that win?
  9. Got it on order at the library, heard a few folk saying it's very good. Just finished Ian Fleming's Commandos by Nicholas Rankin, which was very good and all about 30 Assault Units exploits in WW2. About to start A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. Glasgow libraries are running a series of 50 books every man should read, so I've picked up a couple I would probably have ignored otherwise, and the ones I have read so far have been good reads.
  10. American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis, found it very hard going tbh even though I saw the film a good few years ago and knew more or less what to expect. Now started on Hunter S. Thompson's The Rum Diary.
  11. Should've been sent home IMO, shocking manoeuvre at that stage of the race and at that speed.
  12. Huge crash today at the last corner, Cavendish was well ahead of it though and won the sprint fairly comfortably.
  13. Carter leads 14-10 against Maguire ahead of the final session this afternoon. If O'Sullivan clicks this morning the way he did yesterday then he could wrap it up against Stevens with a session to spare.
  14. 6 in a row now for O'Sullivan to make it 11-5 at the close of play. Long way back for Stevens now.
  15. O'Sullivan stepping up a gear against Williams, just rattled off 4 frames in a row with the last three lasting a total of just over half an hour.
  16. I love the commentator's line, "We've got a lot of cameras, and we're going to need them!"
  17. Big well done to Bradley Wiggins on winning the Paris-Nice!
  18. It wasn't as bad as it looked on the video, but I would guess that if it was a competitive game then the ref would probably have put it off. I was on the line and rarely moved from the centre line at the dugout side. I could see both goals just about all the time but could hardly make out the two corner flags on the stand side.
  19. Is your inbox full? Tried to send you a PM.

  20. Better late than never, here's the goal from the play off match between Petershill and Glenafton. Stephen McGladrigan claimed it but it looks like an OG (Craig McEwan?) to me. I was sent the clip by Peasy fan Jimmy Speirs while I was on holiday.
  21. Looks like an Antipodean final, the kiwis now only need 14 runs from 27 balls, great partnership and it should be a good final.
