  1. Middle aged man calling people "Padawans" is excellent chat tbf.
  2. Wasn't banana slagging someone off on this thread a while back for linking to Glenn Greenwald's stuff?
  3. True. It's why my da stopped voting altogether which is why it's good to see Corbyn suggesting he'd back "illegal" strikes. McDonnell's said a lot of good stuff on this as well and I fully believe he would push for a repeal of the Trade Union Act almost immediately after a Labour government took power.
  4. I think Corbyn had as much opportunity to influence policy under Thatcher and Major as he did under Brown and Blair. A quick Google shows Corbyn voting against limiting worker's rights and ability to strike as well at numerous points under both Labour and Tory govts.
  5. Some dunt if Jeremy Corbyn was saying this shit for 30 years to almost no interest in some mad three-dimensional chess game to take power in 2018.
  6. You can argue this all day but the point I was making was that Labour are running as their most explicitly pro-worker traditional left stance in decades.
  7. Labour just gained like 4 million votes and the largest oppositional swing since 1945 with the promise of repealing the Trade Union Act, substantially increasing the minimum wage and nationalising the key industry in this country so the idea they aren't a worker's party is patently bollocks to anyone not blinded by SJWs.
  8. The First Minister replying to a rando called Stevie Boy. What a world.
  9. If people want to vote for, and blindly defend, more of the same because it's been repackaged into a guy who seems impervious to media training and likeability then that's grand. I think the majority of conservative opposition to Trump comes because they know he's in the process of permanently poisoning the Republican Party, and by extension the two party system, which is great. I don't think there's any other explanation for the media's ongoing rehabilitation of figures like Ben Shapiro but it's glorious.
  10. I think 40+ billion is a worthy cost to pay to ensure that we never attempt to go through this fucking shite again.
  11. The question doesn't become that, the choice isn't limited to that and you can happily moan about both when you haven't endorsed either. Apart from that however, good post.
  12. Probs the former when you remember the big boy heard people talking about the need for transparency around the wall before he started telling folk the wall needed to be see through.
  13. Think the difference is the other presidential candidate did or would row back their stance when they were made aware of how fucking stupid and illegal a move it was.
  14. Nazi American support for Israel also largely influenced by their love of ethno-states. Transparent as heck.
  15. Worth remembering that almost every Republican candidate in 2016 supported a united Jerusalem recognised as Israel's capital. Furthermore Obama said words to the same effect in 2008 and Hillary Clinton said the same in 1999.
  16. Didn't realise Sheamus has been dealing with spinal stenosis, the condition which contributed to Edge and Stone Cold eventually retiring, over the past six months. That's a gutter.
  17. The "good God" in this scenario, of course, being Allah. Bless his name.
  18. Piers Morgan illegally hacking a billion Muslims' answering machines for this information, I bet. Smh.
  19. Reckon a fairly substantial section of the vote was about figuratively wiping the smug looks off of the establishment tbf.
  20. Much better for us tbf. The transcripts of his conversations with other world leaders are gold.
  21. God bless the man single handedly responsible for Jeremy Corbyn.
  22. You've been solidly "Corbyn must go" since April. I was taking umbrage with you claiming that you've only suddenly decided this.
