  1. McTominay said just the other week that isn't true. https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/scott-mctominay-addresses-striker-talk-from-his-time-in-man-utd-academy
  2. Two home games in March would be lovely if the SFA can sort that. Been an expensive few months following Scotland and Germany will add to it. With the World Cup qualifying draw next year I'd also hope we are being sensible with who we pick since we have an outside chance at pot 1. Any over ranked and underperforming teams please.
  3. I went to Porto in between Seville and Lille and watched their game v Slovakia in a bar with a bunch of Portuguese guys who surprisingly were really downbeat and thought their team wasn't good enough to challenge England and France next year and they benefited from an easy group. They really aren't sold on Martinez either.
  4. A load of Scotland fans in London meet up in the Famous 3 Kings on North End Rd and book up a huge part of it so might be worth asking them if it's been booked for the football tonight.
  5. My opinion isn't incorrect though so why would I do the same? I'm simply pointing out you are acting in the same way you complained about when others did it to you.
  6. Thought the biggest non-Scotland match in recent Scottish history deserved its own thread since a load of us will be watching. Draw is the ideal result if we want to win the group but Spain being comfortable for 90mins and not giving Norway a sniff would also be nice. Live on Viaplay 2 for those at home.
  7. The draw there would only have really been the better result for the difference between pot 1 and pot 2 if we win the group, doesn't really matter for the difference between pot 2 and 3 if we finish 2nd. Although looking at the potential teams in pots 2 and 3 I'm not such there's a massive benefit of finishing in pot 2 if we end up 2nd.
  8. Considering you used to cry about 2426255 following you about this place because you had one opinion so bad the mods locked the thread to stop the embarrassment I think the irony might be lost on you that you're doing the same to Craig now.
  9. It being in the arse end of nowhere and seemingly with 1 proper way out of the stadium footprint which was narrowed by fences down to the tunnel under the motorway didn't help either. I've seen Scotland in some shite holes and that was one of the worst.
  10. I'm on the train from London to Glasgow thankfully, I thought I'd be able to sleep through the night on the bus not thinking about having to get off on the ferry and also going through border control.
  11. It's obvious when you speculate but not when others do.
  12. No idea how seriously the French are taking this but if there's a chance Mbappe starts I'd be starting Hickey on the right and bringing Taylor in. After playing Craig Gordon for 90mins in Turkey last year with 2 goalies with 0 caps on the bench I don't see much chance of Clarke making a huge number of changes.
  13. You're right it still stands. Fairly sure there was an instance similar recently where a player got a 2nd yellow for dissent for an overturned decision and he was still sent off
  14. I've seen it said a fair few times on here that the Spanish players didn't appeal for anything for the disallowed goal. Im assuming the TV just didn't show them surrounding the ref to the point he booked one of them for dissent?
  15. Starting to regret being cheap here and booking the night bus back to London straight after the game.
  16. The worst that could happen is Scotland are drawn in group B play on the Saturday in Berlin and the Thursday in Gelsenkirchen and you see none of them.
  17. The difference in metropolitan area is about 700k, it's definitely worth considering.
  18. Cardiff, Dublin and Glasgow each get a QF according to the Times article.
  19. 6 games at Hampden is more than I expected if this is accurate.
  20. That's Lamine Yamal out injured too so don't need to worry about getting ripped apart by a 16 year old. Fair few missing for Spain now. Yamal, Gaya, Pedri, Yeremy Pino, Dani Olmo and Marco Asensio all missing through injury.
  21. McKenna is front and centre in the picture the national team social media have put out of training this afternoon. Carver sent out to address the media today to say all the things Clarke never would.
