If it's like last time you'll get an email from the SSC well in advance with your unique code to access the UEFA ticket portal so it's really just the same as how it works right now but using UEFA's website to buy your tickets rather than the SFA's. I can't imagine knockouts working any differently tbh, just with tighter timescales involved like you suggest.

I don't think those lists are accurate for the games v Scotland. Olmo and Pedri both got injured so weren't involved in the squad for the Scotland game in March and won't be involved this month either, Balde got injured too so technically he's an addition compared to the last time they faced us. Borja Iglesias came on against Scotland too and isn't in this squad.

SSC tickets go via UEFA's site. You get emailed a unique access code by the SFA to be able to buy tickets from UEFA for the Scotland allocation if you have enough points.

I think there's a massive difference between electing representatives to make the day to day decisions and not being consulted at all on a major change to the % shareholding held by the fan groups. The fact the Foundation have tried to address this suggests they know fine well it's not just a "fan owned isn't fan run" decision.

If we go by recent tournaments UEFA give allocations to qualified teams around January/February, it's only the teams that qualify via the playoffs that get their allocation that late. It might work out for you but it's quite a bold move to just decide you know better when the alternative is a chance you're stuck with tickets for another game on the same day Scotland play with no way to buy Scotland tickets via the SSC because of UEFA's rules on not having tickets for 2 games on the same day.

B1, B2 etc does not correspond to seeding at all so you can't work anything out from what pot we would be in. The twitter accounts that do projections seem to think we'll be more likely to be pot 1 or 2 last time I checked but there's far too many games across the qualifying groups to go for it to be that accurate.

The info from UEFA isn't the best and I've read that the resale platform is due to open in spring 2024 which would probably be after the SSC allocation gets sold so I'm not taking any chances of applying for any random group games in the ballot. I would disagree with one part of that twitter thread though which is not to apply at all if you have 10 or more points. UEFA seem to suggest people who are unsuccessful in the ballot will get priority for future sales when tickets aren't taken up by those successful in the ballot so I'm thinking it might be worth applying for the opening game or knockout games just to get access to it if borderline points-wise for SSC tickets. The opening game is the only game that day so if you are successful then you aren't blocking any chance of Scotland tickets and obviously for the knockouts the teams won't be known until the tournament starts so plenty of time to punt on the resale platform beforehand without interfering with getting SSC tickets for the group stages.

The most recent example of a player being in the under 21s squad announcement and then also in the first team squad a few days later was Calvin Ramsay v Turkey. u21 announcement on 4th November First team announcement 9th November Hickey was already injured and Clarke already knew Celtic weren't allowing Ralston to be released by the time both squads were announced which probably rules out it being a replacement for someone getting injured in between the 2 announcements. Gemmill then called up Max Johnston as a replacement so it was probably out of the blue for him too.
