On for Salah for the last 15mins. Encouraging that he's being chucked in when it's 1-1.

1pm kick off and then potentially a load of added time could push this game into the blackout period for TV. Wonder if they'll be allowed to stay with the game on TNT if that happens.

Find it strange Ngwenya would want to come to us on loan where he's going to be injury cover rather than Arbroath where he'd play regularly or Ayr where they despise their full backs and would welcome him like a God. -
Jacob Brown on his way to the Premier League according to one of the local Stoke City journalists.

Tommy Conway is out for up to 3 months after getting injured in Bristol City's first game of the season. Probably ruins any chances he had of pushing to make the jump from the u21s to the senior squad for the foreseeable future.

Are we the only full time club that seems incapable of selling away tickets in any sort of easy way for fans to buy? It can't be that difficult to sell them online and keep a handful aside for people phoning or going up. At least this time we didn't have people leaving a playoff game early to make sure they could buy them. -
It'll be interesting to see if Doak gets into the Liverpool Europa League squad. He doesn't qualify as home grown or one of the u21 players since he hasn't been there long enough so has to be registered as one of the 17 non-home grown or underage players the same as the likes of Robertson and Salah.

I suspect the 2024 Nations League draw will be after the March fixtures since there's League C/D relegation playoffs being played then alongside the euro 2024 playoffs. They could just do the draw before then with "Playoff winner 1 and 2" and "Playoff loser 1 and 2" in placed in some of the groups in Leagues C and D but with Lithuania and Belarus being involved when they have winter restrictions and Gibraltar and Cyprus involved when they have excessive travel restrictions it would probably just be easier to do it afterwards.

Anyone know if the office is open at all this morning? Need to pick up new season tickets and really can't be bothered with having to head up early and queue at the Jackie Husband ticket office.- 208 replies

Buses are all over the place and I think any bus that goes up Maryhill Road is stopping its normal route at Oswald Street at the other end of town and not picking up it's regular route again until Maryhill Road so I don't think any of them will be of use to you from near the bus station. Taxi from the bus station if going the quickest route to Firhill won't go near the road closures so should be fine. It's about 30-40mins to walk it if you're able to.- 208 replies

It's worth anyone either driving to the game or getting public transport via the city centre to check out the below link to make sure your usual route isn't impacted by the cycling world championships. The area directly around Firhill is largely unaffected but one of the race routes includes parts of Maryhill Road north of the stadium, a small bit of Great Western Road, Cleveden Road and Byres Road so traffic might be a bit mental elsewhere due to the road closures. https://www.getreadyglasgow.com/cycling-worlds/traffic-and-travel- 208 replies

Normally I'd want a cup run but either of the OF away in August could mean an extra signing or two.
