  1. Just recovered after getting 2 and a half hours sleep between full time and last night, those early hours flights out of Tbilisi are murder. Great city to visit, people are lovely with the exception of their version of wee neds who tried to attack the away end at full time and got a doing by the local police, I got pelted an absolute belter with a bottle. Not much to add on the game but surprised there was any criticism on McLean from my quick skim of the thread but see plenty defending him, he looked composed and done well in both his roles from what I could see, especially when combining with Armstrong after Taylor went off.
  2. u21s 2-0 up away at Belgium half an hour in. Live on youtube.
  3. They definitely sent an email about this last time round and I've already seen a few people elsewhere ask the same question so although I have no answer id expect something from the SFA to advise you before any sale starts. Top 9k, same as any away game and same as euro 2020.
  4. Other than Germany being pot 1 and A1 the numbers for the groups don't correspond with the pots at all so Scotland could be E3 or E4 but be in pot 1 or 2.
  5. ETA - for some reason when I posted originally it posted the squad tweet again so in case it does it again tickets on sale for Norway Friday at 10am.
  6. I might be a bit off on his exact wording but I remember part of Marshall's reasons for retiring was he didn't want to be the one standing in the way of the younger keepers getting their opportunity. If that's the case even if he was the best player on merit which is debatable anyway I can't see him agreeing to come back for these 2 games, especially when we've already qualified.
  7. I think the difference now is the SFA can be fairly confident about getting a good crowd for near enough any game at Hampden rather than taking a fee for games like that which might make them less likely. Back around the time of Brazil at the Emirates we were getting under 20k for a friendly v Denmark which I can't see happening right now. I'm hoping we're at home to anyone for now. If we are away then I hope cost and convenience are taken into account and we don't end up on the Syrian border again.
  8. The playoff semi final losers from each path play each other in the 2nd game in March so our opponents won't be a case of waiting on who gets knocked out. All the South American teams are set to be based in Europe in March for friendlies so that's a possibility. Sweden would be ideal, underperforming potentially overranked team who will have a new manager wanting to try things out. Same maybe with Poland if they lose out albeit we've played them fairly recently.
  9. At least it definitely won't be England again in March. They've announced they are playing Brazil and Belgium. We can also rule out Brazil as they are playing Spain too.
  10. Clean sheet for Mason McCready today as Gretna beat Broomhill 1-0. Slight improvement for them after conceding 64 goals in their previous 15 league games.
  11. Haaland subbed off at half time apparently injured.
  12. Has there been any suggestion as to what happens to the games set to be in Northern Ireland if Casement doesn't get built? Just spread amongst the existing stadia from the bid?
  13. This is just a stream of concsiousness off the top of my head so might make little sense but there's a load of beaches on some of the lakes in and around Berlin (such as at Muggelsee) or outdoor pools like Sommerbad Neukoln or Kreuzberg which have child friendly areas, pools and some slides. On a similar theme but bigger Tropical Island which is an indoor waterpark in an old aeroplane hangar outside Berlin is a short train ride away, you can go for the day or book a room and go for 2 days https://www.tropical-islands.de/en Tiergarten is absolutely massive and has a load of playgrounds and I'm sure it will be the same for the parks near where you're staying plus there's a Nature park in an old converted railway yard with some old trains and the tracks all left there (https://www.visitberlin.de/en/natur-park-schoneberger-sudgelande). They might also enjoy one of the boat cruises down the Spree, most of them provide shade or umbrellas if it's blazing sunshine too. The fanzone when I was there for the 2018 World Cup had a ferris wheel, a few other rides, your standard funfair type food and some horrendous German europop on the big stage, it's also free so easy to come and go as you please. Imagine there might be more to it this year with them hosting. DDR Museum is free for kids under 6 and has a ton of interactive stuff about what it was like for kids in East Berlin so could be worth a try and you've only paid for your own tickets if the 4 year old hates it. There's a Legoland centre in Berlin but no idea if it's any good and there's also a Natural History museum. There's also an interactive kids museum but it says from ages 3 and up, might be alright for the eldest https://www.visitberlin.de/en/labyrinth-childrens-museum-berlin There's a load of other places easily accessible on the trains. Big cities like Hamburg, Dresden and Leipzig within a couple of hours, regional trains of an hour to nature reserves like Spreewald or if you really wanted within a couple of hours of the baltic sea and the seaside resorts or even some of the Polish cities just over the border. As German Jag mentioned Visit Berlin is a decent guide and also breaks it down to different age ranges which might helpt https://www.visitberlin.de/en/attractions-children If you're wanting to go for the Euros with young children I don't think you're going to get much better than Berlin unless you find some kind of resort somewhere for families which I'm afraid I'm not much help with. Hope some of that helps.
  14. Shame Heckingbottom looks set to lose his job fairly soon just as One breaks into the first team squad.
  15. and as expected Georgia is down to 0 points.
  16. Looking forward to the Euros in 2028 when the German version of P&B has people saying to avoid London or Manchester and stay in Crewe or Peterborough for the transport links.
  17. Working for me now, worth trying different cards if you have them.
  18. Anyone able to buy Georgia tickets alright this morning? Payment won't go through for me but it's not the issue they used to have with the card being declined.
  19. I'd be shocked if this doesn't get to 0.
  20. I don't really mind picking up to be honest, it's just paying for the pleasure.
  21. 2660 tickets for Georgia, pickup and £7 tickets with a £3 handling fee to pay for them to go over there because our membership fees don't cover that it seems.
  22. Hopefully hear about tickets soon but unsurprisingly they'll be cheap at least.
