I've got my tickets already so it doesn't really affect me but it's a bit strange limiting it to people who bought tickets for the Georgia game but then letting them buy 6 each. I'm guessing with the England allocation being tight and their fans complaining about not getting tickets it's partly to ensure no away fans buy for the home end.

Sad to learn that *that* flag came a cropper yesterday
By sad, I mean delighted of course.
Definitely this time? I was taken in by rumours of its demise at Dingwall.

Not sure if this was created along with the Premier League, Championship etc threads so I'll delete if there already is one.
Fraser Hornby currently starting up front for Darmstadt in the Bundesliga away to Eintracht Frankfurt.

A decade on from being the first European side to be eliminated from World Cup qualifying contention, it would be fitting if we are the first team (apart from hosts Germany) to qualify for the euros.
As mentioned on other threads we can wrap it up in September with a win in Cyprus, Spain beat Georgia and Norway draw with Georgia.
If we win in Cyprus but Georgia lose both September games then we can clinch in October with either a win in Spain, Norway lose to Spain or both games are draws.
Otherwise it goes to November and we’ll need something at home to Norway or in Georgia.
If my calculations are right France are the only other team who can clinch in September, but they’d either need Greece to drop points in Gibraltar or Netherlands to fail to beat BOTH Greece home and Ireland awayIn your October scenario we could lose to Spain and still qualify in October with a draw between Norway and Spain, we wouldn't need both games to be draws. We'd be 4 ahead of Norway with them only having a game left to play if we lose to Spain and then Norway draw with Spain.
Also England can qualify in September but it probably needs North Macedonia dropping points to Malta.

On for Salah for the last 15mins. Encouraging that he's being chucked in when it's 1-1.

1pm kick off and then potentially a load of added time could push this game into the blackout period for TV. Wonder if they'll be allowed to stay with the game on TNT if that happens.

Scott Banks at Palace might be worth keeping an eye on. Plays left wing, I think, and has a squad number, so might get some first team chances this season with Zaha having left.
He's also eligible for Wales, mind you.
Off to St Pauli on loan it seems.

Find it strange Ngwenya would want to come to us on loan where he's going to be injury cover rather than Arbroath where he'd play regularly or Ayr where they despise their full backs and would welcome him like a God.

Jacob Brown on his way to the Premier League according to one of the local Stoke City journalists.

Tommy Conway is out for up to 3 months after getting injured in Bristol City's first game of the season. Probably ruins any chances he had of pushing to make the jump from the u21s to the senior squad for the foreseeable future.

Are we the only full time club that seems incapable of selling away tickets in any sort of easy way for fans to buy? It can't be that difficult to sell them online and keep a handful aside for people phoning or going up.
At least this time we didn't have people leaving a playoff game early to make sure they could buy them.

It'll be interesting to see if Doak gets into the Liverpool Europa League squad. He doesn't qualify as home grown or one of the u21 players since he hasn't been there long enough so has to be registered as one of the 17 non-home grown or underage players the same as the likes of Robertson and Salah.

I suspect the 2024 Nations League draw will be after the March fixtures since there's League C/D relegation playoffs being played then alongside the euro 2024 playoffs.
They could just do the draw before then with "Playoff winner 1 and 2" and "Playoff loser 1 and 2" in placed in some of the groups in Leagues C and D but with Lithuania and Belarus being involved when they have winter restrictions and Gibraltar and Cyprus involved when they have excessive travel restrictions it would probably just be easier to do it afterwards.

Anyone know if the office is open at all this morning?
Need to pick up new season tickets and really can't be bothered with having to head up early and queue at the Jackie Husband ticket office.

Buses are all over the place and I think any bus that goes up Maryhill Road is stopping its normal route at Oswald Street at the other end of town and not picking up it's regular route again until Maryhill Road so I don't think any of them will be of use to you from near the bus station.
Taxi from the bus station if going the quickest route to Firhill won't go near the road closures so should be fine. It's about 30-40mins to walk it if you're able to.

England got A1-A4 with A5 taken up mostly by segregation so you're right next to them.
