They don’t have to play offside as a tactic. The forward wouldn’t be able to stand a yard behind, because they would be clearly ahead of them.

Well if there is clear daylight between an attacker and a player then they would have to be well in front of them. I think that would be easier for refs to tell quickly if they are on/off. Less borderline decisions. You’ll never stop fans moaning so that doesn’t even come into it.

I totally agree. Missing a lot of players in the same few positions now, I am glad we got the job done so it’s not as bad as it might have been if we still needed points.

It makes me laugh how much the fans hate him, yet today he’s been one of their better players and he is currently their top scorer. He’s the only one contributing at the moment and they all want him on the bench.

It’s interesting you have your for migraines, I didn’t know they were used for that. I just don’t like mine because when I first started taking them, I could feel my heart slowing down and I found it very slightly more difficult to breathe. It was off the back of having blood clots in my lungs though, so I might be unfairly mixing up the symptoms.

Tbh I think they’ve looked poor all season. I know they are up there in the league and Europe so they are doing well enough but they seem to be playing a lot worse than last season.

Of course we would, because for us it would be a completely different situation. We’d have lost miserably and would be moaning about the team. As I say, a game or player can be heroic for lots of reasons, not just playing well and winning.

Pulling that win out of the bag at Norway was the perfect illustration of a heroic performance though. Heroic doesn’t have to mean the same as a brilliant performance. Pulling two goals out the bag as late on in the game as we did, not letting out heads drop or giving up. That was definitely a heroic performance.
