Do you think that you'll be wanting Calum Waters back? -
St. Mirren v Kilmarnock 29/12/19

They certainly shelled plenty of balls in his direction, but , for the most part, Foley and McLoughlin dealt with him very well. Apparently Foley was saying in the club after the game, that he hasn't ever played centre half before yesterday. -

They did, in the post match bit, where they showed all the chances we missed. It ended up a decent block by one of the Killie defenders, once MacPherson had finally decided to shoot. -

It won't be nil against our makeshift defence. As underwhelming as Waters has been for us at LB, our usual filler (P.McGinn) is playing at CH due to injuries to Broadfoot and MacKenzie. We also have Ryan Flynn playing at RB. Although, he has actually been quite decent in the past couple of games. We did draft in a youngster , Glover, at CH against Livingston, but he wasn't that great IMO. -

Ralston won't be up against Foley (if he's fit) as he's a central midfielder. Will probably be Durmus, who has been quite effective in the last two games. Morias would be more likely to play before Mullen. He's better than Mullen. He doesn't give the defence a minutes peace, and is built like a brick shit house. He was outmuscling players about twice his height in our last two games. Has an eye for goal too. If Foley and McGinn are both fit, we'll have a very different line up compared to Saturday. If not, then it will be Flynn at RB and U-19 player Glover at CH. -

'Well are the best team I've seen us play this season. Can't see past an away win. No doubt we will miss any chances that we do get. -

The useless c**t had the cheek to claim that he had chosen badly with regards to choosing to "manage" his last two clubs. I'll bet our board and Rotherham's regret their choice of employing him as manager infinitely more. -

Stewart was rank rotten today. Tho tbf left wing probably isn't his best position... Why didn't they play Stewart alongside Graham up front? I thought McLoughlin and MacKenzie were a tad suspect at times today. Stewart would have been more effective through the middle. Thankfully he didn't contribute too much that bothered us today. Foley's goal was a thing of beauty.- 70 replies

Kilmarnock v St Mirren

We have more than our fair share of doom mongers in our support. If you think it's bad now, just wait to after our defeat on Wednesday evening. -

We did punt a lot of long balls, but Obika won a lot of headers. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough guile to profit from this. I thought you passed the ball well, but created very little in the final third. Brophy was as quiet as I've seen him, and Hladky really didn't have a save of note to make all day. However, at least you managed to hit a corner in the direction of one of your, sadly unmarked, players and scored a goal. Whether you played badly or not, that was two pretty evenly matched teams out there today. Unfortunately for us, our forwards failed to deliver. If we don't sort that out, then we'll be seeing a repeat of last season's travails. -

Fuck knows how you felt about watching us this time last season then. We were much, much worse. -
Kilmarnock v St Mirren

Apparently the stewards were saying it was St.Mirren's fault as they hadn't told Killie that we'd bring that many fans. Anyway, one of those games that should probably have been a draw, but a combination of poor finishing and one glaring defensive lapse cost us dearly. -
You can live on your memories of last season on that count. Two year extension.

Indeed. A better team, like Livingston or Motherwell, did actually take advantage of our horrendous first half display when we played them. We then went on to have better second half performances against both, but we didn't do enough to avoid defeat. Today, St.J were so poor that they couldn't take advantage of our abject shiteness for the first 30 minutes. We took confidence from that, and when we scored, we never really looked back. I'm certainly not getting carried away, unlike one lesser spotted poster, as despite today's result, our shortcomings against better teams than bottom of the league, are there for all to see.

I did hear rumours of a guy dressed in a gimp suit going round pubs asking if anyone had seen a big angry guy from Bute.

No. We've set two seats aside for the rush of away fans on the day. In reality, there will be the option of buying a ticket on the day for the away stand.
