  1. Club doesn't say anything "Why aren't they making a fuss about this?" Club goes public "embarrassing" "demeaning" edited to add: not having a go at the Dons fan who thinks it's only "fairly embarrassing"
  2. Oh. There wasn't before? Wish I'd known that it was just for shits and giggles.
  3. The thing is though, with Rangers not around, they were not around for everyone. Now that they are here, then given the financial effect there should be no disparity. Based on Thistle's figures, if we lose £120,000 and Dundee (for example) gain a similar amount, that's a gap of nearly a quarter of a million quid between the two clubs incomes caused by the split format.
  4. Lockie to the rescue, as he signs McHattie for Raith Rovers. Quote from the presser "he's a guid lad, ah've always kent him fae his days at the Hertz, and he's ehmm a guid lad..."
  5. Personally I'm not so keen on the home strip either - would rather stripes or hoops than the Monaco half/half. #reallyitk #notreally
  6. Loving the optimism, but we need to change things from last season if we are going to make progress. Erskine might be one of the catalysts for that, with his directness, but we need a box to box Jackson Irvine type midfielder that will chip in with goals.
  7. Both teams could say that they've banned people even if they haven't. How would anyone know? The fact is that Rangers can't now ban anyone after their ridiculous "Defenders of The Players 2016 - We Will Remember Them" media release.
  8. I like wee McInally. Rapid when he gets going, like a ginger Dumbuya.
  9. They weren't smart enough and lacked the will to save their club from liquidation, so I'll put a tenner on "ye havnae".
  10. Which is worse? A turd in your pocket, or one in your hand? Looking forward to reading more #rangerschoices on social media.
  11. I know what you mean, but I have no small amount of sympathy with what the club are trying to do here. Everyone knows that running a sports related business is not the same as a normal business. I think what they're trying to do is to capture the idea that football is a social activity as much as anything else, and the idea of a club is precisely that... it's something with a membership that is constant and loyal. So they are trying to develop a degree of exclusivity but that's pretty hard to do when there are 7000 empty seats every home game and where demand for the product fluctuates according to the weather, the performances on the pitch and what other things there might be to do that particular matchday. I'm pretty sure we all looked at Sunday's crowd at Rugby Park and wondered where the heck all those people had come from. When there's something at stake, or there's the chance of a spectacle to be seen then more folk will turn out so trying to harness these people in some way, as being sympathetic and trying to get money out of them seems sensible. Trying to reward loyalty without excluding those people is a much harder nut to crack, when we are trying to attract people and not alienate them.
  12. There's a boy Robbie Winters scoring a few goals for Pollok these days. Might be worth a look.
  13. Yep. I'll admit to that. At the time I thought "shouldnae have done that, but understandable given the last minute goal and the 114 years stuff" and then when Liam McLeod starting going on about it being like 1980 I was shouting at the telly telling him to behave. Now in the cold light of two days later I'm a wee bit less pumped up for the Hibees and a wee bit more inclined to agree that they should have stayed in their places. However at 4.50 on Saturday, who could have predicted that some neds would hit players or that Rangers fans would come onto the park to fight with the neds? As usual, the fannies on all sides spoil it for everyone else.
  14. I don't know why I'm so surprised that Rangers are busy rewriting history. They've been at it for years. All the way from "catholics have always been welcome at Ibrox, it's just there are none good enough" through to their absolute peak in 2012.
  15. I'd like to congratulate Rangers for uniting all of Scotland's football fans that are not the people. DABs, Dees, Dons, Jags, Binos, Jambos, even their old "old firm" chums now know for the avoidance of doubt what a bunch of zoomers are running the club.
  16. With the greatest of respect, My guess is that they were expecting to run up, give it a few GIRUYs to the Rangers end and then return in the direction from where they came, sniggering childishly that they'd taken the rip. Not sure they expected that this would so incense a tiny minority© that they'd find folk beside them swinging punches, but hey ho.
