  1. Doobie Brothers - Minute By Minute
  2. I apologise young man, apparently i have omitted the generic and ingrained war cry of "wearrapeepul" from the retort to wee malky. How remiss of moi. That would have given you a "big hoose" rather than your piss-taking "Freedom! Bingo". You have a productive and safe day now. Cho.
  3. You may not agree with my views, but "ignorant" i ain't, preppy. You're so consumed with your own self-smugness that you must have difficulty typing and pasting with just one free hand. As they would say in Latinia, you're a cretinus arseholus
  4. I see things my way through living my life in Scotland and by observing and listening to politics with a reasonably coherent ability. You trawl (or should that be troll) through reams of internet sites to find stimuli for your agenda, then copy and paste the guff here, basically boring the tits aff everyone else trying to offer their own viewpoints. You consider yourself the authority on all things political here, but have been outed as someone who is just trying to promote your own self-importance and pick arguments to try and "educate" others and twist them into your way of thinking. Stick the GERS and ONS reports up your arse. Look around you and see what westminster pocket money does and gets you in Scotland.
  5. We're currently being shafted royally by westminster and kept to heel by the tories, therefore i'd much prefer to have our own controls and our own debt management. If it's remaining as westminster's lapdog and suffering more severe austerity similar to what we've been experiencing, or fighting our own struggle for fiscal parity within Scotland, i'd much prefer to fly solo. You won't agree with your entrenched unionist mindset, but as a former Labour voter, i have a vision for a free and self-determining country that will be more beneficial for my children and their children. The alternative is a draconian and subservient existence at the behest of the westminster illuminati.
  6. Next will be his "get out" statement from going to see the FBI and either incriminating or perjuring himself. The establishment will find an agreement with the donald that saves lizzy's face.
  7. We could have full fiscal autonomy, which, at least we would be making our own decisions. As the status quo prevails, we have to watch the westminster boys club jizzing away squillions on mainly london and the south east, while we have to doff our cap and await the glorious lords, masters and overlords handing us our pocket money. At least if we were the authors and drivers of our own destiny, this current subservience would be finished for good. If it took a number of years for full adjustment to Independence to be realised, then i'd be happier treading in our own murky puddles, rather than being continually shat upon from a great height by westminster, whilst being held on a very tight leash. I'm not interested in any of your copy and paste £12.6bn wanking material. You should be aware that, despite your self-proclaimed position as the oracle on all things Indy, there are many like me who have had enough of living in one of the non-equal countries in a "union of equal partners".
  8. Sondland's covering (correctly) his own ass. "i did what i was instructed to do". Giuliani and Trump need new sponsors - Pampers
  9. It's a straight divide, but under oath, there might be the key damning statement that brings the donny down. Here's hoping
  10. Impeachment coverage now live on CNN (Sky 506). Riveting !!!
  11. Successive labour and tory governments have jizzed excessive amounts on projects that will "benefit britain" - M25 multiple lane extensions / additional runway(s) & terminals at heathrow / channel tunnel / HS2 (london to oop north). London and the south east will always be westminster's priorities. Whilst these cosmetic appeasements were being thought out and implimented, we had the A1 and the A9/M74 motorways (term used loosely) that were nothing more than extended "A" roads. Both of these roads were serious and major accident blackspots for years with multiple deaths recorded. We in Scotland were at the back of the queue for years for upgrading these roads to full motorway status. Thankfully, Devolution followed by SNP governance has resolved these issues as much as is possible. We also have a new Queensferry Crossing that was necessary to alleviate the traffic problems between the Kingdom and Edinburgh/South. Not cosmetic, but required. You're too young to remember the 60s and 70s (i'm guessing), so don't base all your political judgements on how Scotland's faring on the current pro-uk spin guff - or the copy & paste maestro, wee malky.
  12. Terrible about your sister, mate. Unfortunately, lots of diseases are more prevalent in Scotland with diet and lifestyle carrying the can for most. However, like MS, there's no logical reasoning as to why it's so rife. If only we were all born with the surname Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, then we wouldn't get any of these serious illnesses and live long and wealthy lives.
  13. I grew up around the Dockyard in Rosyth area during the 60s and 70s and the number of child/teen leukemia cases was both alarming and frightening. Rosyth, Inverkeithing, Dunfermline and, I believe, Oakley were blighted by deaths during this time. It was consensus that the "behind the fence" area in the Dockyard (where the nuclear subs were housed and re-fitted) had a big part to play in these deaths. I personally knew 3 people who died - 2 of whom were close friends. The MOD, as you would expect, closed ranks and denied any connection. The pall (proverbially speaking) still hangs over the area from that time.
  14. Is Swinson ready to be heartbroken in this debate ?? It'll be like a Spitting Image sketch
  15. Hope it's hi-viz with all that smoke and fire likely to be scorching the area ?? Why didn't they build the proposed spaceport in, say, Kent and while they're at it, let's get the nuclear subs base transferred immediately to maybe Henley-on Thames. De pfeffellll can have his toys on his doorstep instead of endangering other parts of the (4 equal countries ) union, a safe distance from him and his fellow tossers. Vent over
  16. Na pet, i find the over-privileged p***k that is about to be crowned as head boy totally abhorrent. I'll never refer to him with the same "borus" affection you do and if he had a "Scottish" name, it would be tumshie. Instead of getting a rage-boner about me referencing one of his middle names, why not get angry that this cretin will be shafting your country in favour of london and the south east ?? Now, that's worth getting angry about, n'est ce pas ??
  17. Squeeze - Tempted (By The Fruit Of Another)
  18. My one and only visit to the Caird Hall was for a Scotland v Them darts match in the mid 70s. Superb venue
  19. Philpy, i pm'd you. Did you get ?? Let me know, mate
  20. Just like in Braveheart when the Irish joined the good fight, count the Fifers in for the Peoples Republic of Leith army contre les tories
