  1. Its very morish. Chilli should be your go to remedy for man flu mate. More Vitamin C in chilli than oranges plus it "clears the tubes" (both ends!)
  2. Try mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and Jalapeños on toast, or in a toastie/panini or even on a pizza.......fucking magnificent.
  3. I preferred Vicki the Viking tbh. At least she took her lithium....
  4. Bennett is probably too thick to understand the meaning of hypocrisy in fairness...
  5. Could imagine @Rugster going for that alongside hid cold toast tbh....
  6. I'm sure I heard somewhere that his child is ill and receiving treatment therefore he and his wife are unwilling to leave Northern Italy.
  7. Apologies, my gall bladder comes a distant second in that particular contest.
  8. I beg to differ.....my gall bladder surely top trumped that?!
  9. Hope you brought your marshmallows for the bonfire, mate....
  10. Correct. I actually reached both series of The Manageress last year for some reason. Although some of it is very dated compared to nowadays, there's a few aspects of modern football it foresaw. 7/10 +1 for Cherie Lunghis tits.
  11. Yeh that's a fair point but by the same token you can't criticise the people that point out their over the top reactions of "grief". I freely admit to being cynical to some of the intentions of these peoples posts when they hide being "rising awareness" yet show a complete lack of benevolence towards similar/related illnesses that litter kids hospitals Worldwide. They're purely hijacking a high profile situation to show themselves in a better light without actually having to do anything whatsoever. We've already seen on another thread on here about how even one of the parents of a young lad uses his sons disability to try and score freebies so sometimes cynicism is well placed.
  12. In the absence of meat or very limited oils or fats I put together homemade spicy bean burgers for dinner tonight from a recipe on the BBC food page. Served with sliced tomato, gherkins and jalapeños on a bun. Nom nom nom
  13. Why does the World need to know about their grief or empathy for the young lad?
  14. Thought Taylor looked very good tonight versus a technically limited, albeit heat hitter in Davies. I think he needs to face a couple of European level fighters before taking on Burns for two reasons : 1. He'd benefit from the experience. 2. Burns has a couple of bigger fights potentially at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I want them to fight but makes little sense for Burns at the moment.
  15. Actually, do they do smokies at Gayfield? That would be great tbh.
  16. I took my bike on a train from Perth to Thurso back in 2000 when I cycled round the highlands and islands. There was a rack in a specific carriage for it though and I'm pretty sure I had to pay for it also.
  17. I know what you're getting at and my conscience tends to agree with you. The thing is when you start going down the road of which sports are deemed out of bound and which aren't then it becomes a legal minefield. That's before you look at which crimes put someone on the sine die list. Look at Plymouth with McCormack, drunk driving and killed a family on the motorway. He was charged and sent down by a criminal court and they take him back. They then release Goodwillie who was found guilty in a lesser Court of law....a tad hypocritical don't you think? Like you, sits uncomfortably with me too and couldn't comprehend cheering on a rapist, murderer or paedophile.
  18. I agree it's a massive PR own goal for Edinburgh City and I was glad when he eventually left Hearts after his "misdemeanours" (for want of a better expression) but we have this debate every time cases like this arise. Evans, Goodwillie, McCormack, Hughes. If we're a society that truly believes in rehabilitation then if he's served his time and no longer deemed a threat then he should be free to seek employment. (Obviously not with children when sex offenders) I really don't get the argument that he can't return to play football. Why are other industries deemed ok? There are positions deemed as "role models" in everyday industry that nobody would bat an eyelid at him taking up. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be too happy to have him back at Hearts but what do we do with these people after they've paid their debt to society?
  19. You'd need a wide beam boat to properly throw someone about tbh....
  20. Thank you kind Sir. It wasn't the intention to give her a middle name for any reason but a combination of giving her the option of a Western name and the name "fitting" nicely alongside Sakura, we decided it was ok.
  21. She was hence her middle name is Rose. Hardly "sordid" though.
