  1. Are we allowed to use the Pete Townsend excuse of "research purposes" when the officers from Operation Yewtree come knocking?
  2. No. He's a convicted rapist and murderer but in fairness, there's f**k all wrong with his taste buds!
  3. Even Peter Tobin wouldn't put mango on his pizza.
  4. It's my daughter's feet and tartan dress, you pair of donuts!
  5. Not really, Westminster has ultimate power over the UK and uses it often. Agreed but I wasn't arguing that point, which was, like signing up to the IMF or World Bank for finance, being a Member State of the EU comes with a caveat of rules that must be adhered too regardless of Parliaments constitutional powers. They can remove the State from the EU, yes, but they can't override certain EU Statute as a Member State.
  6. I bet you were more excited than he was!
  7. Yes, much in the same way the Queen has Constitutional powers but can't really use them.....
  8. Polystyrene WW2 Planes. You still get them here in Japan.
  9. So you're saying the previous UK Governments didn't transfer Parliamentary powers to Brussels and yet they implemented EU laws which said Governments duely incorporated without consenting the electorate......interesting take on sovereignty.
  10. Read the second paragraph of my previous post.......
  11. I did know. 6 months of Constitutional law was a fascinating history lesson in my brief flirtation with becoming a lawyer. More fool me! But given the 3 year farce that it took for Westminster to enact those sovereign powers, as per the democratic will of the majority of UK voters, I don't think they should be granted too much leeway in deciding off their own backs what's best for the people.
  12. I probably shouldn't say this as I'm currently in the process of training my 6month old dog but I'd actively encourage him to attack Chick Young.
  13. I would have thought that the transfer of Parliamentary powers from Westminster to Brussels would be justified......
  14. I don't recall the UK electorate being given a referendum, like the Irish, who rejected the Lisbon treaty btw, were on either. Major and Brown pushed them both through. Don't get me wrong, I'd have voted to remain in the EU if I still lived in the UK, but it's effectively just one set of globalist neoliberal capitalists against an another set. Too many people are being left behind and feeling their voices aren't being heard. Hence the calls for independence.
  15. I'd like to see the Sportsound commenary crew rounded up TBF.....
  16. I'm sure US-Osaka will be on my daughters list at some point. Thanks for the heads up. Thankfully due to it being off season and probably the coronavirus, it was pretty quiet at Disneyland today. Perhaps because it was a new experience for me too, it wasn't that bad. Still, 10 fucking hours though!
  17. never heard that expression before!
  18. If he isn't continually abusive towards other Posters and contributes to the discussion then I've no issues with him.
  19. I was speaking to a couple of Sumo wrestlers at the airport yesterday! Big lads!
