Judging by your first post above....you were in charge of "Oldco's" finances ! £21m war chest ?!......where's that coming from ?! Newco are currently hemorrhaging £1m a month according to their last financial statement !

You're getting Aberdeen & Dundee Utd mixed up........back in the 80's Willie Miller was offered the chance to sign for Rangers but was on "just as much" at Pittodrie. Different game back then......Ipswich were paying higher wages than Arsenal in those days for example.

No.....its a new brick but it does retain the history and any previous achievements as part of its former structure. The old brick, previously bought is liable for the previous purchase price paid.

I dare say that the bloggers you mention will have legally protected themselves by the use of the word "allegedly" and the fact fact that that conclusion wasn't unanimous could be another reason that Murray / MIH might not take this further..............the HMRC might of course appeal the decision too. Agree that the timescale of the decision was far too long.

100% agree...........Murray has far more to lose than to gain from pursuing this. Look no further than the likes of Starbucks, who were exposed during the current Parliamentary Enquiry into Tax Avoidance albeit on moral not legal grounds.....still damaging though.

I would have thought Rangers would be more interested & benefited for that matter in seeking repayment of these now proven loans (amounting to £50m) as opposed to going after the Scottish football authorities ?

I'd like to think he is referring to Romanov insisting that he be left out as per Kello etc when they've exercised their right to run down their contract and not renew rather than Hearts disappearing. Which would go to show Hearts were right to sell him.......whether dropping down to the 3rd Division was the right move is open to debate.
