  1. I thought that earlier when Butterworth came on near the end and that was the fourth time the game was stopped for a sub. I genuinely didn’t know that was brought in up here tbh.
  2. Quite possibly, I’m not at all sure of who’s out with Covid and who’s just crocked at this stage. While having Mitchell back will be a boost, Wilson is definitely one we could have back next year. You imagine he’d be fairly inexpensive and despite being on the small side, he’s not done much wrong.
  3. I’m not letting off the confetti just yet, I reckon we’re going to need a win against EF on Thursday and that will be a tough ask. Howie being out will be a big blow on top of Lang but at least we’ll have the option the isolating players for Thursday, which I’m presuming is Jamieson and Jack?
  4. Big Pat channeling his inner Falkirk TV here and I for one love it.
  5. I’ve already prepared myself for the crushing 1-0 defeat and visits to “Bazza” in deepest darkest Fife next season. I’ll predict a Dumbarton goal from open play this time, probably as a result of Rumsby tying his shoelaces or something.
  6. See everyone next Thursday then. Sounds like a decent compromise for the issue. Still curious how the player isn’t deemed a close contact but I don’t know what was in place and there’s clearly some evidence to support that.
  7. Would Darren Young know whether we had contacted the ERG or not, surely those discussions would’ve been had at board level? As someone said last night - can’t remember who - I don’t believe we would risk openly lying in a statement about getting JRG approval but who knows? I agree this will end on PPG in some form if the facts are as we assume at the moment.
  8. I find it difficult to believe that the JRG would have given us permission to play if there had been 40 minutes before KO. Maybe I'm wrong and Clyde have said as much, but I suspect EF might have a different view whenever they issue a statement. I think we're fucked here tbh.
  9. A wonderfully on-brand way to complete a thoroughly shite season.
  10. What’s happened to Lang, did I miss an injury for him? Watching Rumsby tonight again fills me with the fear, would rather have McNiff there tbh. And yeah, Jamieson not being in the team is strange unless he’s maybe being saved to start on Thursday but probably not.
  11. The amount of people saying that’s them done watching now O’Sullivan is out and that there will be loads of tickets without “Ronneh” Get it right up each and every single one of them.
  12. I’m already nervous about the Dumbarton home game. I didn’t want to come down to a shootout with them for 9th because Duffy had Lennon’s number in tight, cagey matches. They’ll also have a training session before the game like they did last time to prepare (not moaning, just luck of the draw). We better come up with a better plan than hoofing high balls at their defenders or we can start preparing for the play-offs now. I think the team from last night should mostly be the team going forward. Jamieson seems to work well with DGW and Howie at the back offers good composure while allowing us to get an actual midfielder in there. Lang for Rumsby and maybe Thomson for Cunningham and that’s what I’d go with mostly from here on out.
  13. All set up via a defence-splitting pass from the Petershill Zidane
  14. Quite an attacking team from us tonight. Mitchell back, no Lang. Still not confident whatsoever
  15. I’d agree with this team too - barring maybe Jamieson, but I’m with your reasoning - but unfortunately he’s going to pick Rumsby. Him not playing yesterday was a sign for me and he’s been a regular for the most part since the restart. Obviously a win here is a must, both in terms of league position and also for confidence after a poor run and ahead of the post-split fixtures. I’m pretty pessimistic though and Forfar will view this as an opening to get back into things. I reckon it’ll be 1-1.
  16. It was just ever so predictable. Can’t wait to see this all over again in the post split fixtures. We better hope Peterhead go through a major stumble because that’s our only chance of 8th. We’re not breaking out a Duffy outfit in a crucial game, no chance.
  17. There’s a part of me that wants Forfar to get past us so we don’t have to watch this mob getting ridden sideways in the playoffs
  18. And there’s the set piece goal. Relegate us now pls.
  19. We’re doing the Otoo and Love thing again, I’d love to know why
  20. We’re doing the centre half in midfield thing too these days, a silky evening of football awaits. I don’t really have many complaints with our side, Cunningham must be injured but Jamieson isn’t a bad deputy at all. Cuddihy will benefit from playing a bit more advanced I reckon, a bit like Rankin last season.
