  1. That's quite a catalogue of shite after Mayo and Rudden... "Jags boss Ian McCall has been no stranger to signing players coming out of the Auchenhowie academy since becoming manager at Firhill in 2019. Lewis Mayo had huge success in red and yellow last season on loan from the Light Blues while Zak Rudden also became a fan favourite after his initial move across Glasgow to the Championship. Other players include Jamie Barjonas, Rhys Breen, Kieran Wright, Adam Devine, Jake Hastie, Aaron Cervantes, Juan Alegria and reserve goalkeeper Andy Firth".
  2. Thanks for that. Hope the people of Dumfries make them feel welcome (already some Ukrainian flags/bunting about the place).
  3. Apologies for bringing up a non football matter but I was supposed to be staying at the station hotel in Dumfries last night (down to see family and go to the Rich Hall gig) until they cancelled on us as the hotel has been taken over by the UK government for the next three months. Does anyone know what they're up to?
  4. Not the best pictures I know but could anyone tell me what this bird on my feeder is. Looks like a Marsh tit or willow tit but I'm not sure if get them this far north.
  5. He's from Dumfries so has been relentlessly pursuing then mutilating cute wee foxes since early childhood. Got the look of a Tory voter also.
  6. Tiffoney doesn't need a high ceiling as he is a short-arse.
  7. So, Foster and McKenna replaced by Milne and McMillan. Cover supplied by Muirhead and Holt. No bad.
  8. It's true. McCall phoned him two hours after he signed for Airdrie.
  9. He was offered a deal by two championship clubs so clearly others feel as you do.
  10. Not true. Someone was signed on a full time contract this week but not yet announced.
  11. I hope not. We originally signed him as a striker but he wasn't very good then moved him on to the wing where he wasn't very good before moving him to full back where he wasn't very good but sometimes passable. It would hardly a signing to get pulses racing.
  12. You said you heard it from a third party so you absolutely do not know for a fact that it's true.
  13. Very true. It matched our style of football that season though.
  14. I think Quentin Jacobs may have been called up for Namibia while playing with Thistle in the third tier
