Apologies for bringing up a non football matter but I was supposed to be staying at the station hotel in Dumfries last night (down to see family and go to the Rich Hall gig) until they cancelled on us as the hotel has been taken over by the UK government for the next three months. I hope not. We originally signed him as a striker but he wasn't very good then moved him on to the wing where he wasn't very good before moving him to full back where he wasn't very good but sometimes passable. It would hardly a signing to get pulses racing.
