I’m a big fan of Greg and desperate to see him prosper. The Hibs game was a while back now and he was also decent home to Sevco in the 4-2 loss. It’s so obvious the lack of pace without GMS hinders a creative player like Greg as you say. However, the last few weeks he has walked about at snails pace and the touch and turns aren’t working. He could have been playing in the Barcelona first team and he would still be lethargic.

I have been to 5 games in last couple of months and Greg doesn’t look up for it or fit. With GMS out there’s almost zero pace in attack which makes it easy to defend against.

139 pages of arguing (I assume) all over a club trying to better itself and it’s facilities. get a life and just adapt to the new location. Surely it’s better for away fans anyway. well done AFC for trying.

It’s a tough gig though the recruitment at Aberdeen. The fans expect to compete with the erse cheeks on the pitch, but the accounts can’t compete with them.

I know you like May, and he has ‘done a job for the team’ in certain games. As I said, just not my cup of tea, so not slagging, just a preference. Surprised he didn’t come on on Saturday.

Not criticising in any way , but interesting you say it’s been a chop and change season. It was a big criticism of Ferguson by clyde fans that he continually changed the personnel in the squad. hopefully with your deals for next season done early, you get a season with a settled team.

A lot of sensible comments about Greg. I would be over the moon if he tore it up and scored 10 plus goals since returning in January, but it just isn’t working. Cosgrove is not a good partner, as has been stated.He doesn’t have much movement or pace so no space created or runs made for Greg to find. I know the ballon d’or song is a piss take but Cosgrove is still over rated IMHO. The problem isn’t just Greg, although the fact he did so well at Killie and Dundee before kind of puts a greater focus on him. It’s the forward areas in general. Wilson, well he must have the best agent in football. Cosgrove doesn’t do a lot. May , not my cup of tea as I have stated previously. Can’t take a man on, no pace, no aerial threat and has hardly scored for a few years, wow what attributes for a forward. (Sorry Russell Anderson, I do get what you’re saying about workrate dropping deeper!) If only Lewis Moult was in the price range/ had chosen the dons.

There’s a lot of jealous comments towards Kelty on here. Let them go about their business. I know a few people at Kelty and I always get the impression they try to go about things in a professional manner.

Iv said this before and I still think it’s a good idea. The Fife cup as it stands is an almost complete waste of time. Why not have a Fife Cup week, the week before the league cup groups in the summer? 2 groups of 3 (could be seeded if clubs wanted that) so 2 group games. Then first from each group play each other for a winner, 2nd play each other and 3rd play each other. This gives everyone 3 games in pre season that are local derbies so chance of a crowd at say fiver a head.

Been looking at fixtures on afc and also on spfl site. They both have away to Dundee 2/4 and home to someone (Motherwell?) on 3/4. Obviously that’s not going to happen. Anyone know the correct dates?
