  1. If you can't laugh at yourself from time to time then there's something wrong with you
  2. Supporter of 125 year old team trying to brag about unbroken history to Kilmarnock fans
  3. I green dotted that because the coin landed heads instead of tails
  4. I in turn should clarify that I didn't up-vote this because I agreed with it. I just liked the phrase "histrionic dullard"
  5. The divine comedy by Dante He'll was really good, purgatory was interesting, gave up on paradise
  6. Aren't dry noodles the main component of Bombay mix?
  7. Right enough if your relationship is at the point where one of you doesn't even notice the other one is dying of cancer then you should probably accept that it's over.
  8. Shows an ignorance of how the adoption process works!
  9. Magee, Magee, Magee... ....Out, Out, Out Magee... ...Out Magee... ...Out Magee, Magee, Magee... ...Out, Out, Out
  10. Pretty sure if the ticket is not displayed at the time you will be liable for a penalty fine. Its the same if your road tax disc falls off your windscreen and is no longer visible But if you've got any kind of a case for an appeal then have a go. Appeals have pretty high success rate in Edinburgh, I don't know about where you live
  11. Plastics and Diddies I assume. It's Tedi though so the words in question may not even start with a P or a D. In that case I won't even question the inconsistent use of apostrophes.
  12. Cya Charlie, you came in, preserved the club, laughed at Celtic, Laughed at the SPL, laughed at the SFA, got us through the BTC and made sure none of our titles were stripped. Winding up the P and D`s was a marvellous achievement, well done and enjoy your retirement. ^^^^^ Crying Inside. I might be being a bit dim here but... What does "P and D's" mean
  13. Humility seems to be a stronger theme in Methodism than CoE so it's hardly surprising that she drifted away from it. Tony Blair went the whole hog and switched to RC just as he finished up so when he pops his clogs they'll presumably do the whole shebang in Westminster Cathedral.
  14. Methodist background but Anglican in later life apparently.
  15. Intellectual masturbation IMO. It's like Big Brother in reverse. Are you talking about the play (in which case I disagree), watching plays in foreign languages (in which case you may have a point) or was that a comment about the standard of Chinese Heavy Metal (In which case I'll have to get back to you)
  16. Coriolanus by William Shakespeare. I've booked tickets to see it on the Festival but it's going to be in Chinese and feature two of China's top heavy metal bands so I figured I should familiarise myself with the work first.
  17. Hopefully they'll ask for a minutes silence at the Scottish Cup Semi Finals.
  18. Seasons so far in brief Hearts: Meh!, Meh!, Pish Hibs: Oh Yeah!, Meh! Utter Pish!
  19. It's been quite a thrilling race to find the least shit team in the capital this season. Despite losing on opening day Hibs had raced into a 10 point lead after 13 games only for a minor ressurgence in Gorgie and hard times in Leith to shift the momentum westwards again. The gap was closed to 3 points at the midpoint of the season before a 5 game losing streak cost MCGlynn his job and allowed Hibs to restore the gap back to 9. With Hibs now on the brink of equalling that 5 game streak and already winless in 7 they seem to have let Hearts back into the chase yet again. Pld: HEA, HIB (Hearts Lead) 1: 3, 0 (+3) 2: 4, 1 (+3) 3: 5, 4 (+1) 4: 6, 7 (-1) 5: 6, 8 (-2) 6: 6, 11 (-5) 7: 9, 12 (-3) 8: 9, 12 (-3) 9: 9, 15 (-6) 10: 12, 15 (-3) 11: 13, 18 (-5) 12: 13, 21 (- 13: 14, 24 (-10) 14: 17, 24 (-7) 15: 18, 24 (-6) 16: 18, 27 (-9) 17: 21, 27 (-6) 18: 22, 27 (-5) 19: 25, 28 (-3) 20: 25, 28 (-3) 21: 26, 31 (-5) 22: 26, 32 (-6) 23: 29, 33 (-4) 24: 30, 34 (-4) 25: 30, 34 (-4) 26: 30, 34 (-4) 27: 30, 37 (-7) 28: 30, 38 (- 29: 30, 39 (-9) 30: 33, 40 (-7) 31: 34, 40 (-6) 32: 34, 40 (-6) 33: 37, 40 (-3)
  20. Ah Aha Ahaha.... Hahahaha Lmfao edinburgh footies pure thrivin eh! Only Dundee has as many top flight teams!
  21. This It doesn't have many stops so it's almost as fast as the cab would be. If you're coming into Edinburgh Waverley from the west then get off at Haymarket instead and get a taxi or the airport bus from there. If your train stops at Edinburgh Park or South Gyle then you could get off there but they're not on the bus route and call the taxi in advance because you can't just assume there will be cabs out there. If you're in no hurry at all then you could wait for a tram.
  22. It happens on the full moon after the equinox. The Equinox is the 20th of March so if there was a full moon just after that then Easter will be early if there was a full moon just before the Equinox then Easter will be late Why they can't just celebrate on the Equinox like decent pagans I've no idea
