I think that was possibly a Goldfinch. I am trying to remember which order of pints I had, and when I was sufficiently smitten to take a snap of one, for I sampled what can only be described as "a good few".Golden Eye?
My pizza was quite tremendous as well, a venison and blue cheese pairing last night.
I also took a fuzzy picture of the menu to help me navigate the dizzying selection.
Very enjoyable night!2 -
Cheers!

A three-row stand separated from a plastic (?) pitch by an eight-lane athletics track and a two-lane long jump track. Absolutely awful.

Can you delete that please? Awful stadium. Not fit for purpose. I know Lachie Stewart very well, and even he was just sick in his mouth when he saw that aberration.First sight of the new Meadowbank Stadium:

Bought a growler from Stewart's Tap at the weekend and unaccountably left it in the fridge until tonight. An 8% Double NEIPA called Nor'Easter.
Their tasting notes promise tropical character, punch of stone fruit and zesty tangerine.
My tasting notes just read: wooooofff!
An absolute riot of a beer to be drinking on a school night. Thankfully I only have a 1l bottle, for I could easily sink a few pints of this before making some inappropriate lifestyle choices in a kebab shop on the way home. Whereas all I have to hand is a packet of Beef Taytos.
A tremendous purchase.2 -
Not in my lugs he's not.He is still on0 -
Doug Allan was a good guest. A little bit outwith the norm. Could have listened to much more of him.

That's really sad news about Lanark. That was a superb ground to visit, been there a good few times. Full of character. Hope they can restore that.

Hmm. Not sure why that didn't embed. Here's the actual photo. Credit above.

Any thoughts on where this was taken? I'm wondering if it might be Gayfield. Unsure though.

Irvine Vics 1 Shotts Bon Accord 3 HT.
Utterly magical day. Started with a wee cruise over to Arran and back, bite to eat at Irvine Beach, then a first visit to this wonderful wee ground.
It's a ramshackle place, but with bags of character, trains pelting past and they sell onion pies. What more do you need?
Glad I chose this over my Plan B of Saltcoats.8 -

This lot played like a bloody pub team.

Pint of Jarl followed by a pint of Diamond Mine by Fyne Ales in the finest pub of them all. Love this place.

Have you ever taken an easel into a football ground?
I don't think it's on the list of prohibited items for Hampden Park. Would be a bugger getting it through those turnstiles though.

There's a lot of masks at Mogwai. A lot.

Oh what's this now? No drinks inside the auditorium.

I've been at the Barrowlands twice since lockdown and masks were ditched universally once through the door.
No masks last week at Tim Burgess, and none in SWG3 a couple of weeks ago.
Mogwai will be the same. Imagine a few people wearing masks around themerch and bar area, but barely any inside the hall.1 -
"verbally confirm"I've not seen this bit. Is it on ticketmaster?0 -
Biden will have a nightmare getting this lot parked behind the Kelvingrove.

No doubt somebody will be along soon to complain that it is expensive.
Today I've ventured out to Plockton. A pint of Jarl which did well not to freeze over. It is cold here, oh so cold.
Tonight perhaps the Phoenix. A wee break up here certainly beats working.
